Definitely more Wall art than an actual usable ax
1st off I would like to say that The rap job on the handle is mediocre at best it's more decorative than anything it is not gonna hold up to actual ax use and the head came loose like when i opened it it was loose .they use a wooden spike in the top instead of metal they also Didn't really make the sheath where you could use it half of the beard on my blade sticks out of the bottom of the sheath the sheath is very poorly made and designed the spike in the back is not protected anyway shape or form while being sheathed and when you put it on your hip half the sheath comes apart and it hangs dangerously from your hip the handle feels like it's made out of 2 by 4 really light airy wood 1st couple swings I feel like she's gonna break I just don't feel like this is worth a $130 If anything I think this might be a 30 or $40 ax if that the head seems like it's somewhat quality everything else can go in the trash get rid of it

Not really great decor or as a tool
I was excited for this axe, either as decoration or for practical use. It isn’t great for either. Some work went into the designs, absolutely! But it looks like someone made in their garage and should be selling at a local market, not mass produced on Amazon. The handle feels like lumber hanging out in my basement, and while the head is hefty the etching is definitely done by hand - not necessarily a bad thing, but also not what I anticipated.I tried to use it for firewood. Hah! The thing is razor sharp, but with how wobbly it is, it is hard to get a good swing - especially when you’re worried about the axe head talking to the sky. I almost tossed the handle into the fire pit. I didn’t, because I’m hopeful that either linseed oil or a metal wedge will help. The head is decent, so with a new handle it would probably work well, if the oil or metal wedge don’t work.

Poor quality.
The description made it sound like the axe would serve well both as a functional tool and a unique piece of decor. Unfortunately, this axe was a disappointment on both fronts.Firstly, the craftsmanship left a lot to be desired. The steel seemed subpar, and the edge was poorly finished, making it inefficient for any actual woodworking or chopping tasks. As for its decorative appeal, the axe fell short there as well. The detailing was inconsistent, and it looked like shortcuts were taken in the design process. Far from the eye-catching Viking aesthetic we were expecting, it looked cheap and hastily made.To add insult to injury, the axe wasn't even balanced properly, making it awkward to handle. It's disappointing because we had high hopes for this being both a functional tool and an interesting conversation piece. In conclusion, I can't recommend this Custom Handmade Stainless Steel Viking Axe. Whether you're looking for a functional tool or a unique decorative item, this axe fails to deliver on either count. Definitely not worth the investment.

good prop, non usable tool, Nice decor. Best for adult use, caution for kids.
Amteaur built, mass produced, as this cost, i was expecting some quality, as the pics shwoed .carving is somewhat detailed, head is heavy, but needs tightining. bst part is the sheath, thick and buckle to hang/attach. do not expect to carve down tress with this, the item needs tighting of the head to the handle.I plan to use it as a prop for viking costumes marketing and decor. still i will sue caution , and keep away from children and pets. save the reapir coss, lookelsewearif 'using' it , and not looking at it .Sharing is caring, I ❤ to share my trials. Hope this helps ✌

Looks pretty cool, decoration only
From the moment I took this axe out of the box, I realized that it was more a work of art than a functional tool. The intricacies and aesthetics of the design immediately struck me as something meant to adorn a wall rather than to be swung in the woods. The handle, crafted from softwood, is indeed too delicate for practical use but adds an elegant touch that complements the overall appearance. It's easy to see how the gentle texture of the wood contributes to its decorative appeal. The axe's fit to the handle, while not suitable for actual use, does not detract from its appearance as a showpiece. The jute rope wrapped around the grip area, despite being loose, adds a rustic charm that enhances its visual appeal. However, the sheath left something to be desired. Though it may not be necessary to fully cover the blade in a decorative context, a more refined and fully-covering sheath would elevate the overall presentation. The exposed blade and finicky metal clips were a bit disappointing in an otherwise artistic piece.Weighing around 1.2 kg, the metal part of the axe has a substantial feel that lends authenticity to its appearance. It commands attention and is sure to be a conversation starter wherever it's displayed. While it's evident that this axe should not be handled as a working tool, it fulfills its purpose as a decoration piece with flair. The unique shape, the interesting choice of materials, and the overall design make it a striking addition to any collection or decor. As a decoration piece, this axe has its place on the wall, adding character and a touch of the outdoors to any space. Just be mindful of its purpose, and you'll find it to be an attractive and distinctive element that reflects both creativity and craftsmanship.

Not Impressed 🫤
Was expecting more better quality because of its price but it's unfortunately not for me. It is indeed could be use for displays or decor but not to use as an "axe". The handle feels really cheap and even the cover for the axe head does not fit really great- it looks odd.
