I installed this over the steps to my deck for safety in the dark. It works great - the motion sensor lights the steps when approached and it turns off after several seconds. There are 3 settings to choose from = dim all the time then bright when motion is detected; off until motion is detected then on for a bit; or on at dusk off at dawn. It's solar so no batteries needed.

I purchased these lights in March 2022. They are very easy to install and I am extremely pleased with the brightness of these lights. Their motion sensor does a great job of picking up movement and have been very helpful in lighting areas to help me and my wife to avoid hazards when coming home. They are also effective in alerting us when someone comes up our driveway. Recently one of the lights quit working and I contacted customer service. They responded very quickly and honored their lifetime replacement warranty by sending a new light. This kind of service is unheard of today and will make me a return customer for this company. Last for a long time and easy to set up. Pretty bright too

While the light is great in terms of brightness and motion sensing. I received a defective item in the lot. I tried alternating solar panel to see if that was the issue but one has yet to start operating. Thinking of pulling it down to see if i can get it to work because I'm unable to return due to the country I'm in. Otherwise It's great i just wished this light was in operation.Edit: Seller dealt with the situation in a timely manner and now i have received my replacement and they are wonderful. Now my whole yard is fully lit. I love these, bright and motion sensors are great also.

When these lights work, they work really well. But Nacinic seems to have a lot of manufacturing issues. I've gotten eight of these lights in the last year or so, two at a time, and only half of them work.In the first pair, one unit was defective. In the second pair, both units worked fine. In the third pair, one unit was defective. And in the most recent pair, BOTH units are flakey (24 hours after installation they shut down completely - the light will not come on, and pressing the button has no effect - but if I take them down and do a bit of jiggling, the units come back to life and work fine until the next day, when they shut down all over again).Nacinic has been good about replacing or refunding, but I would much rather just receive products that work right out of the box.

I only thought to leave a review because I was looking up my order so I can get more.These were easy to install in wood. I had to get creative with some wire to hang one off a gutter.I used these on sides of my house where there wasn't any light otherwise. I had to aim the solar panels in non-ideal directions but they seem to charge up adequately.The motion sensing angle isn't very wide. With the light about 10ft up and pointed down You have to be in like a 20 ft wide area for it to turn on.The light isn't very bright but it's more than adequate for getting around and doing the stuff I need to.I'm sure there are better lights out there for more money. I'm quite happy with these and will probably order more.

UPDATE: This seller was quick to replace the missing parts. The lights work very well and are now mounted with the hardware that comes with the set. We are thinking of ordering another set due to the quick response and the way these work.We were able to mount one of these lights. It works very well, the light is bright and works great in the "motion detector" mode. However, there are no brackets for the second light and there were NO screws included in the packaging. Fortunately we had screws so that we could mount the light we did get the brackets for. Not sure how we are going to mount the second light and solar screen without the mounting brackets. Pretty disappointed overall because of scrambling to find mounting hardware that fits.

A couple of weeks ago I purchased another similar product (from Aootek) and have had those lights mounted long enough to be familiar with how these little solar powered lights work. I am using them in conjunction with an outdoor motion activated Blink XT2 camera so I only need them to come on when motion is detected. These lights will never replace dusk to dawn soffit mounted flood lights, but they are bright enough to enable Blink XT2 color videos vs infrared videos, once activated, if you have enough of them. (I have 4 Aootek and 2 of this brand plus a battery powered little floodlight that's also motion activated.)The biggest advantage to this brand over the Aootek is that the mode selector button is on the FRONT, where it's easily accessible. (On the Aootek, it's on the back, which is stupid because when the lights are flush mounted you can't access the mode selector button at all.) These lights have 208 LEDs, compared to the 120 on the Aootek, and the color of these lights is more white, whereas the Aootek's light is more yellow. However, the Aootek lights have reflectors surrounding each LED and as a result they are brighter, even though they have fewer LEDs.These lights also have a better angle for the lights and the motion detector sensor -- they're not angled down as much, giving further motion detection distance and a better dispersion angle of the light when the lights are mounted less than 7 or 8 feet off the ground, like on a fence. Finally, these lights have a more sensitive darkness detector, meaning that they come on in dim light vs dark light, which I prefer. (These lights also include a generous amount double sided mounting tape.) Good job!(This product is the light on the right, and the Aootek is on the left.)

Bright light, recharges even on cloudy days, works well for our shed which gets used a few times a night

I was busy and unable to return the same to Amazon in time. Both units in the package do not turn on after charging outside for several hours. Product is made in China. The internal batteries are probably dead. Basically lost my money :(
