High quality driver that goes LOW with super tight bass control and very musical
I put the 2x 2Ohm voice coils in series and installed them in a transmission line cabinet I had lying around. Driving 2 of these through a Definitive Technology SubAmp600 in my home stereo setup to augment my LiiSong full range speakers. Seamless integration with the music. Very nice controlled bass. Not boomy at all. Goes very low, especially with the right cabinet. These relatively small 6.5" DS18 drivers definitely move a LOT of air. These 6.5" DS18's perform much better than my 8" Focal subwoofer drivers that are 4-5x more expensive. Very much recommended!!!

Impressive for what it is
Put under seat of Honda CR-V in a sealed .22 enclosure with 300 watts.Does not play very low so not really a subwoofer more of a mid bass but It adds a good amount of punch to compliment door speakers .

Weak surrounding
Second one I buy has weak surrounding and tears apart . No play time on new one and it wants to fall apart .
