Works well, very small, great value Bonus: receives Glonass as well as BeiDou-listing doesn't say so
I used this GPS/Glonass/BeiDou constellation receiver with active GPS patch antenna (along with a 2" WaveShare ESP32-S3 touchscreen for business use/mileage logging system I'm making). It works well, sees 23 satellites and locked onto 10 of them for a great position fix. I've set it to update at 10Hz intervals and at 115200 baud instead of the standard 1Hz, 9600 baud, so my real time speed indicator and compass headings update quickly.

I had a little bit of trouble with Tx and Rx, but that is a me problem. Once I connected properly, it functions flawlessly. Super easy, great value.

works well with GPS/BD systems
I was working on a project comparing location fixes by the different satellite constellations. This gps module was included in my testing. I pasted the GPS stream into a chatgpt session and it commented back that the signal was decoding BD signals better than any of the other expensive modules that I was using from various vendors. I suspect that this one is tuned for the BD consultation. It was quick at getting a fix and I had no issues pulling down the data stream over UART as expected. It is a nice, small, inexpensive module that gets the job done for any project needing a location fix.

Offers good sensitivity, reasonably fast acquisition and a rich feature set, possibly competitive with ublox types, although ATGM336H documentation seems harder to come by. Small furnished antenna is limited, but irrelevant if using an external powered antenna anyway. Good value for money.

Arrived as ordered and workes great! Nice to get them in a pair in case you screw up the soldering... not that I would know that for any particular reason.

An inexpensive alternative to u-blox M8Q/M10Q GNSS modules.
This is an inexpensive alternative to name-brand u-blox M8Q/M10Q GPS/GNSS modules (also available on Amazon). I haven't compared this feature-for-feature to the more expensive devices - and they'll likely exceed the capabilities of what this can do - but it'll probably do just fine for most hobbyist uses. I was able to use this without any special magic on an ESP32 project using the TinyGPSPlus library. I have no problems getting a position fix even though I'm doing my development work indoors (drywall ceiling, insulation, plywood-and-shingle roof). This is really small; the module itself is about the size of a US dime. If I have any issue at all, it's that the antenna is separate from the module, with a short cable with a U.FL connector on one end to connect to the board. I'm used to the self-contained u-blox devices that are (larger) all-in-one modules so I don't have to figure out where to put the antenna. But: Depending on your use you may find that to be an advantage, since that means you can bury the module deep in your project and then use the short length of cable to position the antenna with a better view of the sky, or perhaps even use a different antenna for greater sensitivity. All-in-all I'm very happy with this module and am ordering another for my next project.
