Raising Electronics Server Shelf Cantilever Tray Vented Shelves Rack Mount 19 Inch 1U 12Inch (300mm) Deep

I have used these several times to organize DirecTV receivers, audio amps, UPS units, and Cable TV receivers. For the price, they are great. Very heavy duty for the 1RU size. 12" deep is what I use. For some installations, I use these to brace rack rails and create a custom EQ rack of sorts. That might seem odd, but it works in places like restaurants that need stuff organized. These are not broadcast quality or serious network stuff. But for most of us, these are pretty nifty and a great value.

This shelf if the middle shelf that is above the red power switches.It is 8 inches deep in my 9 inch deep wall mount network rack. This rack is used to hold and power my audio equipment. The length is perfect to allow space at the back for cable management with my SCHIIT gear.One of the ears was bent out of the box and I bent it back. Very happy with it.[I did not use the included age nuts. They appeared to work fine if needed]

It's a decent enough 1U shelf, but the curl on the front of the overhang is *FAR* worse than I thought looking at the pictures. Don't expect to be able to easily use the U below the shelf, it will be partially blocked as you can see in the attached picture.

I use this unit in a vertical rack to hold 4 Raspberry Pi's and a switch. The holes allow for easy mounting of devices as well as ventilation. Seems like a high quality rack.

Great shelf for networking equipment, etc.Really wish the bend on the front went up instead of down. Hard to tell from the picture but the bend on the front removes space from the total height. This means if the equioment you need to put on this is close to 1U in height, you have to leave 1U of free space above it. If you have the room not an issue, but for those that have space constraints it could be.

Easy to install and it comes with the installation screws and nuts! You just need a Phillips screwdriver!Very sturdy!

We purchased this shelf to set the cable modem on for a client.When we received it, we were pleased to see that it was a full 1U 4 screw shelf made of metal. It was vented to allow air to come thru the rack and keep the server and switches cool.At 6" deep, it was the perfect size for our needs. We placed the modem and a small NVR DVR on the shelf together.Knocked 1 star on the shelf for packaging. It was a little too thin and because of that the packaging for damaged and allowed for a noticable scratch on the finish. Didn't affect performance.

Good sturdy shelf. Works great to hold my cable modem and router. Ventilation slots turned out to be well placed for zip tieing both to the shelf so they would stay in place.Edit: When I bought this in October 2018 it was $28. A little steep for a folded piece of metal but attaching "rackmount" to the name of anything seems to add a noticeable premium. It's now January 2019 and the price is now just under $49. At that price , regardless of the quality, I strongly suggest you look for something else.

Good solid shelf with venting. Small enough to fit in my small wall mounted equipment cabinet. I zip tied all equipment I have that couldn't be properly mounted to the shelf through the vent holes. I wish there was a model this size that could also slide out, but I had trouble finding one.

This is actually the 2nd shelf i bought for my lil 1/4 rack shelf at home. Much better then using my old cisco 1811 as a rack ;) quickly shipped, promptly arrived, in great condition, easy to install.
