They’re counterfeit. I just read an article stating Birkenstock pulled all their merchandise from Amazon in 2016 because of other counterfeits of their products being sold via Amazon...the same article said Nike is ending its 2 yr run with them as well.

Q: Are these Waterproof?

The Mayari is not a waterproof sandal. Birkenstock makes 3 sandals that are waterproof. the Arizona, Madrid, Gizha all made with Eva. Retail price 39.95
