Really sour and oh, so good!

Great flavor, individually wrapped like when I was a kid.

CAN NOT WAIT TO BUY MORE- I LOVE IT.

My husband used to eat these as a kid and he was excited to see they were still being sold.I know he is enjoying them, and I will probably order some more. If you liked it as a kid, you'll like it as an adult.

Many years ago my father and I got hooked on these things. So this year for Father's Day I decided to try a roll in his memory. Unfortunately it was not what I remembered. For one thing they're smaller, which doesn't surprise me. The size of everything has shrunk. And while they are nice and sour as I would hope, the cherry flavor is different. It's that kind of flat, artificial cherry flavor that you get in cheap candies. The color is even different, it's a paler red, not that deep red I remember.So while I did enjoy them it's nothing like the enjoyment I used to get from them back in the day. (We're talking the early 1960s here.) I know I should have expected change and in fact I accepted that there would be, but I didn't figure on how much it would bother me.I've seen a number of reviews of these candies that talk about how nothing's changed, and I can only assume that these folks were late to the party and started consuming them after the substantial changes I've noted occurred. So if you're an old timer like me you're probably going to be disappointed. But they're still not bad. They just ain't what they used to be. *G*
