Ask anyone who is a significant coffee or tea geek and they will tell you that water temperature is an important factor in the quality of the final cup. Some teas and coffee types do better with lower temperature water while others are better with water that is at the boiling temperature.This water kettle is very accurate, to less than 3 degrees by my measurement, between 150 and 212 degrees F. The temperature control is as simple as sliding your finger along the touch pad. All of the functions are controlled by touch along the front edge of the base, with the right side being the start/stop button, the left corner being the temperature hold (indicated by a small thermometer being on or off next to the red "heating" indicator as seen in the third picture). The two numbers are the current water temperature on the left and the target temperature on the right. The grid pattern is where you slide your finger to change the target water temperature.This particular kettle is 600 ml, or just a little bit over 20 ounces, which is enough to get two decent sized cups of either coffee or tea water out of without having to refill the kettle. That keeps the weight of the kettle down, making it much easier to control the pour, also. The shape of the spout (called a "gooseneck" spout, in this case) makes for a pour that is gentle and easy to control. In fact, you almost have to work in order to get it to splash in an uncontrolled manner.The kettle is also a nice light weight, and the angle of the handle makes it easy to control. My wife, who has weak hands due to arthritis, has no problem holding and pouring water from this kettle, which is great.The packaging is very secure, ensuring that your purchase gets to the intended recipient without any damage. TIMEMORE's Electric Kettle is nicely made from a combination of plastic and metal. It looks and feels high end. I was quite impressed with the overall finish quality.Using the kettle is easy. The power switch is on the back and the display and touch sensitive buttons are on the top front. The display shows the current temperature and desired temperature. I was very impressed at how quickly it boiled a full kettle of water. It took only a few minutes and was silent while doing so. There is a hold function to keep the temperature steady once it is reached.The kettle pours smoothly and balances well in the hand. I used it to boil water for my small french press coffee maker.The kettle is easy to clean with a sponge and soap.All in all... sleek and easy to use.

This thing really is beautiful - they nailed the industrial design overall with both the kettle and the stand. The kettle itself has great ergonomics - the handle and spout are shaped just right for making pour-over coffee, and the lid fits snugly without being a pain to install or remove.Note, however, that this kettle is quite small in comparison to the standard electric kettles - it only holds about 600ml (about 2.5 cups) so it will hold enough to make two mugs of coffee or tea. That being said, it is very fast, so making two batches if you have four people is not a big deal.Using it is quite easy and the instructions are very well written and easy to understand. Here are the basic features:1. Set temperature with slider (cool, but a little annoying if you want to be precise within a couple of degrees).2. "Hold" button so that it will bring to temp and then hold.3. Auto "boil" by press and hold the "hold" button4. Ability to switch between Celsius and Fahrenheit (came set to Fº)The only complaints I have are that the kettle is a bit of a snug fit onto the base, so it requires some effort to place and remove (it feels like it needs to "plug" into place) and the slider is a bit tricky to get an accurate setting.But this unit has a very high SAF (Spouse acceptance factor) - my wife doesn't drink coffee and hates my "ugly" pour-over kettles. She LOVES the look of this one, because it is black, matte, stylish, and small. Like a small sports car.

Pour over coffee is all the rage these days. And the trick, as I’ve learned the hard way, is having the perfect gooseneck kettle. I’ve used a stovetop kettle for a few years but I felt it was time to upgrade to an electric kettle so that I could heat water more quickly and have more control over the temperature of the water.The other trick to making perfect pour over coffee, as it turns out, is getting the water to the exact right temperature. Too hot and you can scald the grounds and burn the coffee. No good. Not hot enough and the coffee will be weak and flavorless.Back to the gooseneck: the small spout has two advantages over a wider mouth spout. First, the water comes out more slowly, which is actually an advantage as you need to let the grounds “bloom” before you fill the grounds to the brim with water. Second, you get a lot more control, which comes in handy as you need to swirl the water around to get all of the grounds wet as you pour it in.The color of this kettle is a perfect matte black. Very classy. And it’s quite compact. Hardly takes up any counter space at all. I love this kettle! Wish I’d gotten one like this years ago. And this is a fraction of the price of some of the other brand name kettles out there now from brands like Fellow.

Gutes Design! Heizt schnell auf! Einfache Bedienung. Einzig die Warmhaltefunktion könnte etwas kürzer sein heizt erst bei 2 grad Temperaturdifferenz wieder nach auf Zieltemperatur. Kann aber nicht sagen wie das bei anderen Herstellern ist.

First of all, the design of this kettle is really beautiful and it looks really stylish and beautiful. It is quite lightweight, and easy to use as per the instructions. The LCD screen is easy to read and display a clear and accurate reading.It is easy to control the temperature and is good for coffees and teas because they all have different boiling points. It can hold quite a lot of water, definitely a lot more than I needed, and the design makes it easy to pour and use.Overall, recommended, but a bit on the expensive side.

Schicker kleiner Schwanenhalskessel, der macht was er soll; aufs Grad genau aufheizen, warmhalten, kochen, ausgießen. Die Aufheizzeit kommt mir nicht besonders lang vor, ist für mich aber auch nicht relevant und habe sie somit nie gemessen. Die Bedienung der Station ist ohne richtige Tasten manchmal etwas fiddelig, funktioniert aber nach Eingewöhnung ganz gut und man hat einen komplett cleanen Look. :) Gießen kann man mit dem Teil echt gut, für die V60 ist das mein Liebling und hat mit 600 ml für meine Bedürfnisse die perfekte Größe.Bei einem Preis von knapp 160 € ist das PLV zwar etwas in Schieflage, aber das Ding funktioniert wie erwartet und sieht dabei super aus. Würde ich wieder kaufen.

I just love that little cattle. It's absolutely large enough for my single household and I can program every temperature in in für my tea and coffee.
