Works well
Polyester is hard to dye, let`s not tell porky pies. However, with perseverance and a little ingenuity it is possible. I bought second hand chairs (pic 1) very cheaply and despite fairly heavy wear turned them into usable, comfortable loungers. I should point out I am a site carpenter and have had no previous experience in the upholstery trade.I disassembled the chairs and removed the covers (top tip, take plenty of photos). Being unable to find/locate/scrounge a suitable stainless steel pot big enough, more than 35 litres, I purchased a second hand Swan boiler of 20 litres. This meant I had to dye the parts of one chair in two lots (following the instructions to the letter) After bringing the water up to temperature (approx 95 centigrade) I then proceeded to put dye (Anthracite), washing up liquid and covers into boiler. I stirred for 40 minutes using a stainless steel set of barbeque tongs before allowing it to sit for a further 25 minutes (at temperature). Using said tongs, I removed covers and put into a clean 40 litre trug half filled with warm water. Quick rinse, allowing everything to cool somewhat then into second trug with cold water. After rinsing through fairly well, quick hand wring, then into washing machine for a medium cycle (40 degrees quick wash) with a couple of old towels as per instructions. Repeat another 3 times and hey presto the results as per pic 2 and 3.Bit of a faff, and somewhat long winded but I am really happy with the results.

Only worth for one or two garments
I needed to die 8 white synthetic button-up shirts for my child's uniform. I tested the dye with two shirts (they weighed 6.20 oz/176gr while dry). I used half the bottle (3.5fl oz.) and a 5L pot for the process.I kept the shirts in the dye bath for an hour and as they dried the colour is a dark pink at best. Not really red.The instructions said to sue the full bottle (7fl.oz) for polyester, but it's not clear if this means 100% polyester or garments with some percentage of polyester.Giving the results I got with two small shirts, any fabric with polyester will need the full bottle. Also, you require a massive pot, bigger than 5L (which most people don't have), so it's something that needs to be added to the total cost. Plus the electricity/gas to keep the water above 93 °C.For me, it simply takes too much time and ends up costing me more than buying individual red shirts online.

It is alright.
These came fairly quickly. Pretty expensive for how much you get. I bought the red to transform a wedding dress into a Lydia Deetz dress- This is after one whole bottle and being boiled on a stove top in a big pot for an hour (before and after) I think I will have to dye it again and hope that more colour is absorbed as it is a lot of fabric. It wasnât easy to use as the pot kept overboiling even on the lowest, and you have to be super careful of your surroundings or youâll dye everything. The colour is even though and it does look alright đ

Did not work at all
Got a black dye bottle for a grey top. One top. It did not work at all, not one fiber's colour was dyed!

Saved my old leggings
Super easy to use when following instructions. Canât believe how well it worked. The colour is dark but not black which is not an issue. Very good product.

Very orange!
Orange dye worked a treat, and everything came out the colour of the bottle.

I'm never buying colored stockings again!!
This literally turned a dingy, old-ish pair of rhinestone fishnet stockings BRIGHT magenta after like, 10 min of dying đ„č they're absolutely gorgeous.I brought a large pot of water to boil, and used half the bottle of dye. I then put it just above simmer and added like 4 pairs of both white and "nude" tone stockings in the dye mix with a couple other snap accessories. I let it sit for about 10 min and then dumped my pot in the bathtub. I used my shower hose to spray everything very easily, the color didn't LATCH right on to the walls or tub. I then gave it all a wash and have been enjoying theBRIGHTESTPINKESTCUTEST leggings you've ever seen!!*the stockings were white, the sweater was a lighter pink. I added them both to the dye bath.I give it 5 â's for vibrancy and how EASY it was to do. I'm never worrying about the "right"shade ever again! I'll just buy this stuff!

Donât waste your money
This is utter useless waste of time and especially money. Did not work at all and I followed the instructions. It barely stained my pants, barely changed in colour. This should be banned from Amazon

Works well
We needed to dye shirts for a halloween group costume. We all wanted the shirts to match and buying orange shirts became too pricey. The directions were easy add they came out beautifully. The color was bold ad vibrant. Will be buying more dye Purple this time for Month Of The Military Child. The other dye we purchased was hard to use I spent forever rinsing and the color faded too much.
