Training Children to Be Strong in Spirit

Dear People,Me and my wife are living right now the times of fruitfulness, we are waiting for our second baby. But our first son Bastian is now very obedient because i am spending time for training him and together with my wife help him to overcome his own mistakes. He is 2 years old, and he runs to me and says: "Papa my best friend". We live in Lima, Peru and some people were not agree with the way that we are raising our son. But now they see the fruits and come and ask: how did you did it? I always say, its because of God and training the child.Praise God for a new life that HE has given to my wife and me. Together we are serving God in Lima pastoring in a small church, that is growing with the power of God.I highly recommend this book, it gave us a lot of ideas for helping our son to be strong in the body and spirit.God Bless you.

This book was an easy read and full of inspiration on how to impart wonderful gifts to your children. Gifts of being strong in mind, body and spirit. It also speaks of the importance of being having favor with God and man.

I was really looking forward to this book because I love the other books by the Pearl’s I’ve read. But, it was mostly just filled with stories and didn’t give enough direct pointers like I expected.

Thank God for the Pearls and their ministry. That's all I got to say about this wonderful book. And buy it!

I am so glad I bought this book and I feel that it is another book by Michael and Deb Pearle that has taught me a lot. Thank you again for such wonderful wisdom and it is great to see their true hearts for their children as well as ours.

Great book. Very helpful.

I enjoyed this book so much that I read it in one weekend. I hope I can apply to my life and my son's life what I learned from it.

I've always loved the books by the Pearls. And this one is one of my favourites. I wish I was raised up by mom and dad like them and lived in a family with joy, love, and wisdom. Now, I want to try my best to turn my family into one like theirs and to give my kids a childhood that truly prepares them for their God given responsibilities and builds their characters. This book is a by encouragement for myself too. As I read through it, I feel that this is the goal God wants me to strive for too: the principles and goals are not only for my kids, but also for me. I'm very thankful because as a Christian, I'm blessed enough that I have entered into God's household and have been "homeschooled" by God day by day.I would definitely recommend this book to parents who wants to raise kids who are strong in Spirit, and anyone who wants to be trained by God to be useful in His kingdom.
