The Black Page Journal: Dot Grid Paperback – Large Print, February 10, 2017

Good notebook. The only thing to be mentioned is a little lack of contrast. The background looks more like dark grey than like black. But this isn't so critically important I think.

I bought this to use with gel pens and the opaque colors show easily, the less opaque colors don't show up at all. I also wanted the dot grid to practice drawing Celtic knots. The paper works nicely for that purpose. Paper is lightweight which is great as practice paper.

Love, love love this notebook. It made my white gel pen pop.

well made but too big for my liking. Gelly Roll gell pens that have the crescent moon on them are perfect for this noteboook

The paper is not as black as I thought it would be. It's also pretty flimsy, and it doesn't really work very well as it seems to soak in whatever I put on it so it doesn't show. I bought the notebook to practice calligraphy, but it seems I will not be able to use this notebook for that purpose. Unfortunately, the only pen that shows up on it is a white gel pen. Even my white paint pens did not show up.

Soft card stock cover, not rugged like i thought it would be. Paper is ok quality. Bright color gel pens show up nicely, but the quality is not my cup of tea.

It is a nice notebook, it just doesn't have the same journal feel as other well-known brands.

Worked perfectly with my white gel pens. Unlike the other reviews, my paper was solid black and good quality- especially for the price!

The media could not be loaded.  Good value for money its not 100% black. Great for beginners

Like it, but cheap paper as if you would find in a crossword or word search book. I so wish the cover was blank.

I wish it was A5 size but I don’t mind 7x10. The cover was too flimsy and unappealing. So, I ripped it out and made a new one.The paper seems to be printed black rather than a true black but it writes nice and for the price, I can’t really complain.

While the pages are black, the paper is clearly made with white paper with black ink printed on the entire page to look black. I guess you get what you pay for.

This is a lovely little journal and exceptional value for the price. The paper is true black, smooth, bleedproof and works perfectly with my dip pen and white ink. There are 100 pages and it is dotted both sides so lots of practice sheets. The dots help keep my calligraphy even and they are perfectly spaced. I’m very happy with this purchase.
