Working!
This was a big investment for us, but I decided to purchase a chiller because we really struggled to maintain our tank temp last summer. (We have axolotls and they like to live at temps lower than 70 degrees.) We've had the chiller for about a month and it really does keep the tank cool. The setup was very easy, although we did purchase some clamps to make sure the hoses can't slip out of the tank. (The supplied hose length was enough to meet our needs, but stuff happens and I don't want a flood in my living room!)Programming took a few minutes, because I had to wrap my head around the instructions, but it wasn't too bad. I like that there is a calibration feature to make sure that chiller and tank temp are *really* the same. I also like that the powerhead and cooling unit are independent, since I know we will eventually blow out the powerhead! We have had 2 instances where the chiller has randomly made a lot of beeps and stopped cooling the water. It was easy to reset the machine and it didn't lose the specs that I programmed, but I definitely do double check the tank temp every time I walk by it so I know as soon as possible if something is wrong!

Good for an ice plunge
I've been using this with my ice plunge tub and it works great. I did buy seperate fittings, pipes and things but the actual unit is pretty solid and quiet. I do think you should buy a GFCI extension cord if you use this for safety though. But no real complaints, gets it down to 40 degrees easily with an ambient temperature of 80, we'll see how it does it in the summer.

Amazing Brand for Chillers
Great chiller, instructions could have been much better but we did get help from YouTube and it worked great. It did stop cooling after two years so we had to replace but definitely staying with Poafmax

Very cool
This works great for my cold plunge tub. I don't know exactly how many gallons my tub is but it's around 90-125 gal. I would recommend comparing the thermostat of the cooler with a thermometer in the water. I believe my cooler was a few degrees off, but it was easy to adjust. It keeps my tub cooled to 41 but will likely go a few degrees lower. When the thermostat was wrong I accidentally cooled it to 38-39 degrees so it can definitely chill the water pretty low. My ambient garage temp is around 60-70 degrees and it runs intermittently. I haven't noticed any large changes in electrical costs. If you cool it really low it will need to run more frequently but 41 degrees is my preferred temp.

Great product and perfect for at home Cold Plunge
This is a powerful device for a great deal. Quiet and perfect for my at home cold plunge. Really easy to assemble and set up. The only piece missing from interactions is that they provide one long tube that you have to cut in half and attach but had no issue using a pair of scissors. I only set the water to 55 degrees but can set it much lower. A great buy!

Quiet and Keeps Water ICE COLD
This keeps the water COLD! Been using it over the summer at 46 degrees (in a Vegas garage) for a cold plunge. Works awesome and I hope it lasts me a few years.Power usage is unknown as the specs don’t share it. But for the most part I haven’t noticed a significant higher bill.

Just spend the money and get a better chiller
The photos/description do not show/describe an electric wire going into the tank. The installation instructions are vague & list a strong electric shock warning. Why would I use a product that could shock me in a tank with living animals? This should be disclosed. Now the seller wants $160 return shipping BUYER BEWARE

Fantastic Chiller. Happy with my purchase!
I have own this chiller for 1.5 years and it has kept my daughter's 29 gallon Axolotl tank perfect. When installing, I sent the temperature and I have not touched it since. If you are looking for a chiller, stop looking. I may have trouble tomorrow, but 18 months in, I couldn't be happier.
