Gennine Zlatkis scores again in the eye candy department. This journal serves several purposes: 1. A display of Gennine's colorful and uplifting art, and 2. A useful guided journal for those of us who want to journal but are challenged when it comes to creating writing and art in this type of format. If, like me, you suffer from blank-page-itis, this lovely book is for you. The book itself is well constructed on very high quality paper from Lark Crafts.

I really love this journal! As with some of the other reviewers, I find it'sso pretty I don't want to muck it up. The birds are so cute, and dare Isay, cuddly looking, you just want to hug them! The flowers are interestingand full of detail. Overall, it's a wonderful deal for the price!

This is a beautiful journal for an avid bird lover. There are many illustrations to color or paint, finish drawing scenes, or many pages for one's own drawings. There is also plenty of room for journaling on both plain or lined pages. The pages are of a heavy paper and all are well designed. This would make a wonderful gift for anyone who loves to record the birds they see while bird-watching, or sketching nature scenes in general.

I am so happy with this sweet journal! It's beautiful! I don't even want to use it because it's so nice. I'll keep it to refer to for the drawings... maybe... well okay, I think I will use it but only for very special things to be put in it. <3 Really super happy with purchase!

I just received my journal and I'm so pleased with it! I love Geninne's work and I'm going to spend some quality time relaxing with the journal painting and sketching! I find coloring,doodling, and painting so relaxing and can not wait to dig in!

I just love anything by Geninne! When I grow up I want to be her. I hope she writes more books soon. I have another of her books and have started hand carving my own stamps. Just lovely art.

I love Geninne's art and was delighted to be able to own this journal. There are four sections which encourage you to draw, colour and journal. Each section is generously illustrated with Gennine's beautiful birds and flowers. I'm already planning a nature journal using my photographs with illustrations and embroidery based on Geninne's designs.A wonderful and inspirational book.

Can be used as a journal for your own notes and gives ideas and encouragement to explore your own art/doodles. Pages are blank with pictures surrounding the page or ready for you to colour in the printed drawings. Nice gift for friend who is a fan.

This book is lovely with lots,to do. It's pretty. I really like it. The only disappointment is that it says it's a lay flat book making it easier to use. It does not lay flat open, it does make colouring and drawing difficult.

Beautiful journal. I bought one for myself and one as a gift. I love Gennine's art work and enjoy being able to colour her pictures and journal. A lovely gift for anyone who likes journaling.

I bought this thinking it was just a journal and then it arrived and I saw it was all sorts of things and treats to do on a rainy day. Like all the Avian Friends products it is just too beautiful to draw in but I am sure some day when it is raining I will. It is a treasure found.
