Dependiendo del contenido tarda de 20 a 40 minutos promedio en calentar tus alimentos. Es muy practica para quienes no podemos ir a comprar comida y no contamos con una estufa u horno de microondas para calentar los alimentos. Muy recomendable, comprare otra unidad para mi esposa.

I have had this for over a year now. I only use it about once a month on long trips. But it has already paid for itself.As long as you know what to expect from this product it can be great. First thing is it will not cook food, just reheat it. Second I would not use it for mostly liquid items.I cook food a day ahead. On the morning of a trip I place the food in the tray and plug it in the car. Usually after an hour to one and a half hours I will smell the food. Then I will find a place to take a quick break and be back on the road. On very long drives I bring a second meal in a cooler and load it up an hour before my next meal time.The removable metal insert is reasonable to clean on the go and easier to clean at home. The outside gets warm but not too hot, but to be safe I keep it on the the floor in front of the passenger seat.Meats, vegetables, eggs, and pasta/rice do the best for me. There is a vent on the top to let the steam out but food can get soggy so breads and fries are not great. If I plan to make a hot sandwich I place the bread/buns in a separate container. It is not perfect, but it does work.

It works fine they need to do better with the bag and the department that holds the silver ware

The item itself is pretty good it does exactly what it says that it does there is a plug for the wall outlet and a plug for the lighter port in the car. It does work pretty well but there is no option to turn on a timer or an option to turn the heat up or down.
