I currently own 2 of these and in my opinion they blow the go pro out of the water. voice control start and stop recording. slow mo, 720p 1080p 4k recording capability. Image stabilization could be better but its also a sub $150 camera. I do most of my recording while fishing from my kayak and the images have come back with excellent quality. you can remove the internal battery and run this camera off of a portable battery bank using a usb c charging cable for extended run times ( I fish 8-10 hrs). Great camera if your not looking for professional quality video this will do a fantastic job.

Price was right. Picture is great. Audio is like 2 cans on a string. It's not hood with just the camera. You can add the microphone but then your not covered on the IP rating. Menu is wonky, sometimes the only way back is to reboot the camera. Battery holds up really well. All in all, it's a great product for the price.

It's a budget camera with budget quality. PRO: I would much rather have my kids messing around with this than a $350 gopro. CON: The video is excessively grainy. 1970s home movie grainy. And the audio pickup is horrible. I'm publishing a product review I took with the camera, just because I don't want to re-record it, but I'm not thrilled about it.

Bought this to get some quick videos on a recent trip. Did not want to spend for the more costly brands as I am not a professional nor would I use this very often. For the amount of money spent, this camera works great. It comes with a lot of accessories - which is great of someone like me who doesn't want to spend a lot more on accessories that i'll use only once in a while.

This camera does everything as advertised. I took it on vacation and shot hours of video on my motorcycle as well as underwater while snorkeling. The only complaint I have is with the wrist worn remote control. Pairing took multiple attempts and connectivity is sketchy at best. The other accessories are very useful.

I really wanted to love this camera. I have had GoPro's for years but my latest GoPro had issues that the company could not solve so I wanted to move away from that brand. I love the features of the Gamsod and it's a great price but what is lacking for me, that I can't get past, is the video stabilization. Resolution is good but videos are choppy and jump when panning. This camera may work well with a gimbal that also has stabilization but that is unrealistic for every filming situation. In addition, any video recorded at any "zoom" level is pixelated. When a zoom level is set, it stays at that level until you move it resulting in bad videos. I took several videos that were unusable because I had previously taken a photo at zoom level 8. Zoom level should reset to "0" when camera mode is changed. Picture attached is of a 4K video at 60 fps and zoom level 6, very pixelated.

I ordered this camera in order to record swimming techniques lessons in open waters and I definitely love the remote control feature. This camera does the job perfectly, been skeptical at the beginning but now I am happy I made this affordable choice.

Other than having to buy a 30 dollar SD card to be able to record in 4k, this is a great camera for the price. Next time I’d probably just invest in a GoPro. This camera is not bad at all though. Good buy.
