Lamps arrived undamaged. Couldn't buy GE Reveals anymore, they're not being made. So, I searched Amazon and the web looking for a Par30 short neck lamp that wouldn't be too white or blue. We wanted something soft on the eyes since this was being used in the bathroom.We found this bulb and was told there wasn't any delay when it's turned on. Other bulbs seem to have this trait. Anyway, I turned them on and no delay and they're quite bright. Brighter than the GE Reveals which were 65 watts each. The two that I installed are on dimmers and at the lowest setting are as bright as the Reveals on the highest setting. They are soft on the eyes though due to the 2700K rating. I'm glad I got them since I didn't have many options. The only thing I've noticed that's a little distracting, but not a big problem is they have a slight humming noise like a ballast. It's very faint, but if all is quiet in the house, you do notice it. Overall, a very good buy for what we were looking for. I wish I could have gotten it in a 2200K warmer illumination. They're a little more spot than the GE flood lamps we had, but the fact that I can brighten them more than the Reveals is a good trade off. The girls like their light when doing their makeup and these lamps should last hopefully longer than the average year or so I was getting out of the GE Reveals. I bought the four pack since it was a better buy. Hopefully, this will help you with your decision. This lamp can easily be used in any room that one intends to read a book in. They are very versatile. I would have given 5 stars, but the slight humming noise from the light's circuitry kept me from saying it's a perfect light.

So far, so good. They fit and they work. Only problem was they do not have a flat surface so I was not able to install them using my pole with suction cup since my ceilings are 9 feet and higher so I had to have them installed by someone who had a very tall ladder.

Very happy with these. Short necks are hard to find and LED short necks even more so. The 1 or 2 choices available at Home Depot are quite pricey. I bought a batch of 2700k Warm White Dimmable short neck PAR 30 Floods from Vanlite last May and wrote that they were great except that they didn't dim as much as I would have liked. I am using those on a non-dimmed circuit so it doesn't matter. I just wanted to see how they did on a dimmer. These new bulbs have the same specs but dim much better than the ones I bought last May. Unlike the Halogen bulbs I was previously using, these do not seem to change color temperature with dimming. Halogens turn orange as they dim but these maintain the 2700k warm white color regardless of power level.

I bought a pack of these bulbs in February 2016. Within the last month, two of them began flickering occasionally.... until they burned out. Although they were in a heavily used area (the kitchen), there's no way LED bulbs should only last two years.... so I won't be purchasing this brand again.

I love these. They put out a nice light. They are not as bright as the ones they replaced and that is my only complaint. I will be looking for brighter next time. They are ok for my bedroom as I don't need really bright light but in my kitchen I would want brighter. For the price and quality they are great. They dim to almost dark and that is nice. The dimming is instant and responsive. The light they do offer is excellent in quality and tone. I wasn't sure as these were my first LED can lights I have tried.

These bulbs flicker at full power and even more when dimmed. This has been the case in every fixture I have put them in. They are clearly inferior. Do not buy them. Much better bulbs like this can be found at Costco, etc. I bought 6 of them and they're all going in the trash. A horrible product.

My house is mainly lit with small 5in can lumieres that require the hard to find PAR30S bulbs. For the few choices the prices have been high and the performance has not been satisfactory for me, until now. These bulbs are priced competitively, the light is good, the dimming is very good, and the overall appearance is nice and not "unusual". I bought 12 and I will buy more to complete the conversion. My dimmers are inexpensive ones from 20 years ago and they are completely functional.Checks all the boxes so far.
