Sturdy sign, comes with an extruded aluminum stake, not plastic. I do have an alarm and I wanted to display that fact but most of the signs I looked at had plastic stakes. Not rocket science here. I didn't think the plastic would last very long since I'm pulling the sign out when I mow the lawn and then pushing it back into the ground. It's on the south side of the house with full sun exposure. I'll let you know if the red color fades or not. Stickers worked good.

I am very pleased with this sign for the outside of my home. It replaces a local companies monitoring system sign I had foryears that faded and is almost identical. I do have a home monitoring system, it is wifi driven and inreading reviews it was mentioned not to put out that companies sign out front as sophisticated burglers would knowhow to hack the system. This sign keeps them guessing! Win/win.

Overall good group of products, stickers and sign post. Post was solid with plastic with metal rod. Multiple window stickers and 1 cam sticker.I had a problem with delivery but seller took care of it. Overall highly recommended and great service.

We purchased this a few weeks ago and we think the sign looks real and it gives us some peace of mind. Our house is relatively far from the street (we're on a 1.5 acre lot) so from the street it looks real just like all the other neighbor's signs.I wish the stickers were window decals instead OR that the sticky was on the other side. They are literally just stickers and you'd have to stick them to the exterior side of your window to be seen. I really don't like sticking stickers to windows because they are hard to get off. I was especially surprised that they were meant for the exterior and not interior (sticky on other side). We'll see how they do in the weather.We are happy with our purchase.Edited- It’s been 6 years & the signs need replaced. They’ve been outdoors in rain, snow, etc so they’ve been through a lot. Expect a 5-6 year life span. We still like the signs & I’ll be replacing them with the same ones.

We rent so we felt like having something in front of the door and this makes me super comfortable coming home at night. I know it's little and won't keep out career criminals, but it is just a little something extra with the window alarms that make me feel better sleeping at night. :)

I had my "old security company" for many years and thought it was time change my sign and stickers. The sign looks great as do the stickers, if they last as long as the old ones I will be well pleased.

I thought this would be a more realistic "look alike" sign. (Smaller & non-descript) Not super pleased with it.

As seen in the photos, one shield is attached with rivets, and the other is not, what does that say about the sturdiness and can I trust it to stay together in 4 seasons of weather? They can do better….**. Just an aside, ALWAYS spray anything you are putting outside with Spar Varnish to protect the item and to resist fading, peeling, cracking and/or damage to the finish.
