As seen in the photos, one shield is attached with rivets, and the other is not, what does that say about the sturdiness and can I trust it to stay together in 4 seasons of weather? They can do better….**. Just an aside, ALWAYS spray anything you are putting outside with Spar Varnish to protect the item and to resist fading, peeling, cracking and/or damage to the finish.

We purchased this a few weeks ago and we think the sign looks real and it gives us some peace of mind. Our house is relatively far from the street (we're on a 1.5 acre lot) so from the street it looks real just like all the other neighbor's signs.I wish the stickers were window decals instead OR that the sticky was on the other side. They are literally just stickers and you'd have to stick them to the exterior side of your window to be seen. I really don't like sticking stickers to windows because they are hard to get off. I was especially surprised that they were meant for the exterior and not interior (sticky on other side). We'll see how they do in the weather.We are happy with our purchase.Edited- It’s been 6 years & the signs need replaced. They’ve been outdoors in rain, snow, etc so they’ve been through a lot. Expect a 5-6 year life span. We still like the signs & I’ll be replacing them with the same ones.

Made of quality materials. Very visible and cleverly worded to prevent 'checking up' on the monitoring coverage. One suggestion for the manufacturer: Turn the mounting rod the other way--sharp end down--to aid in installation. (I ended up driving a metal tent stake in the ground, then using a large plastic tie to secure the aluminum rod to the stake. I could determine no other way to 'drive' it into place without damaging the sign.) Small adhesive labels also work well for window/door signs--very visible, not too large.

I purchased the sign/sticker for security purposes. We recently had a second burglary in the middle of the day in our subdivision recently. My neighbors started putting in ADT and other well-known alarm systems in their homes and sign posts in their yards. Unfortunately not everyone can afford going through an alarm company. I read reviews on AMAZON for home alarm signs, and decided to go with this style and color. The red color stands out and I hope this will deter burglars. The price for the sign/stickers were in our price range. I hope it works!

Everything about this product is good, the only problem I have is that the pole the sign mounts on is quite short. If you pound it into the ground 4-6 inches the sign is barely visible from the street.

Sturdy sign, comes with an extruded aluminum stake, not plastic. I do have an alarm and I wanted to display that fact but most of the signs I looked at had plastic stakes. Not rocket science here. I didn't think the plastic would last very long since I'm pulling the sign out when I mow the lawn and then pushing it back into the ground. It's on the south side of the house with full sun exposure. I'll let you know if the red color fades or not. Stickers worked good.

Used the security stickers on all of my windows and "camera monitoring sticker on my sliding glass door on the patio. I actually have a security camera so it ties everything together and provides warning. The stickers are bright and visible and the yard sign is definitely a bonus.

I am very pleased with this sign for the outside of my home. It replaces a local companies monitoring system sign I had foryears that faded and is almost identical. I do have a home monitoring system, it is wifi driven and inreading reviews it was mentioned not to put out that companies sign out front as sophisticated burglers would knowhow to hack the system. This sign keeps them guessing! Win/win.
