Works beautifully. I used it with fondant. I rolled out a one inch thick piece of fondant, cut it to the size of this piece, gently coated both pieces with powdered sugar, pressed along the outer edge before I lined the pieces up and then pressed it down. Each piece made came out great and with ease.
