Product is of excellent quality (both hose and brass fittings), easy to install and use. We're Alaskan snowbirds who were recently caught in the big US freeze up in south central Arkansas. In order to keep our large diesel pusher motor home from freezing up, my husband wanted to be able to supplement our on-board propane supply so that we didn't run out and have to move the rig for a propane fill-up. Product worked great when using spare propane bottles that we could refill easily without moving. Temp got down to 5 degrees and we were able to keep our water on and avoid freezing up anything. Highly recommend.

The product was easy to install. It is designed to install on the RV before the regulator. The supplied hose that is supposed to connect to the BBQ does not connect to the BBQ hose. I had to purchase another adapter to get it to work. Strangely the hose supplied connects the RV to the disposable 1lb cylinders. Why on earth would you connect the RV to a 1 lb cylinder? I purchased a separate adapter that connects 1 lb cylinders to BBQ's. I got one with a shut off so we can leave the BBQ safely connected while camped.

I use this on a motorhome parked in a park in Mesa Az. There is an ordinance that prohibits propane delivery in any park. You can either get this setup for a portable tank or pack up and get the tank on the motor home filled. I chose the easier option. Buy this to make your life less complicated when you need an easier option.

This product was recommended for my RV. The only thing is that the factory threaded joints leaked, everyone of them . Had to take apart and fix . They were extremely tight , maybe over tightened!! It works great once I got the joints to stop leaking

I had doubts on this item when I read other reviews. I bought it anyway and will give it a try. Nothing special about the camper, besides being a a little old. I can run the heater and the stove at the same time with no problem. I haven't ran the water heater and fridge all together yet, but I see no problems with gas flow so far. You usually don't run every thing at the same time. Would recommend/ buy again if needed. Only down fall is it's made in China.

I stay at RV sites for extended periods of time and was having to drive my RV to refilling stations every time my installed propane tank got low. This extend-a-stay tee adapter was extremely easy to install and allows me to connect a portable propane tank I can disconnect and refill without having to move the RV. I did have to go to Home Depot to get an adapter (~$15) to fit between the propane hose that came with the kit and the 40 lb portable propane tank for easier connect and disconnect.

Excellent product easy to install you will need to ensure there is enough room for the valve to fit between your existing connection at you permanently mounted tank. It fit with no issues on my 1999 E-350 motorhome. Nice to be able to hook up my bbq to the rv tank so I no longer have to bring along another propane bottle.

Was easy to install and seems to work fine. Great to have when you can’t get out to refill the onboard tank.

First, I checked many YouTube videos on how to install the kit, until I was sure of what I was doing.Then, I thoroughly cleaned the work area (see before and after photos). Make sure propane is off. Remove the connection (reverse threaded). Install the kit between the connections (again reverse threaded). The instructions say that you don't need teflon tape, and I would agree, BUT, the key here is to tighten patiently - thread as far as you can by hand, then wiggle the connection, hand tighten some more, tap the connection, tighten more, until a wrench (7/8") is only needed for the last half turn. Too many times, people tend to use the wrench too soon, and the threads kink and dent, then leak. To check for leaks, turn on propane and pour some soapy water over the joints and check for bubbles. Mine were fine. The other 2 ports are threaded normally, for adding an extra tank, or tying into my Woods camp stove (making sure that the hose has a regulator - I supplied my own). I don't have to carry an extra tank for short trips; I just tie into my new adaptor.
