X Discover's How Important He Really Is! Great Teaching Tool For Parents & Educators. Attention: Reading Programs!
Have you ever felt unimportant? Does it seem like others with more talents, more money, more "everything" are much more valuable? That is the way X felt, also, but one day he discovered that was not really so.Join X in his discovery in this delightfully written story of one letter's venture in discovering his worth. The book cover and illustrations are marvelously done. They are bright, colorful and with much detail.X's tale was very creative and original. The inspiration of the author in its use accentuated an important point while getting his message across to those reading ad listening. It did miss few points I felt would have increased it's relevance even more. This is a tremendous book for educators use and for Summer Reading Programs. My review of this book offers a Four and a Half Stars rating. This book was sent to me by the author for an honest review, of which I have given.

Ever Been the Odd Man Out?
X lives in languageville with all the other letters, but he feels insignificant, and decides that he should run away, but discovers that the world is a difficult place to navigate without the letter X. It is a story that enforces the idea that each and every one of us is important in the cycle of life. We all serve a purpose and we are all needed. This would be a great book to use to bolster confidence in children and adults. This simple message demonstrates a deep truth and message.Beautifully illustrated by Michelle Munger. Highly recommend for children and adults too

An Enjoyable Read
Even though I have no young children or grandchildren, I've read the book - what can I say, I'm a sucker for children's picture books - and it is a delightful story. The illustrations are cute and perfectly bring the story to life. Beneath the surface, there is a nice lesson about how we are all important, no matter how insignificant we may feel. That is a truism we all need to hear now and then, as we sometimes measure ourselves against others and come up short. The book is well-written and has been professionally produced.

The Day X Ran Away
One of the best picture books I've read in a long time. An incredibly creative idea for kids to see how to use X in so many ways. The theme also allows children to realize how special they are to their own world.
