Don't bother paying someone to do it! 4 bolts and done07 impreza wagon

At first, it did not look like it was the right hitch but this hitch fits my 2005 Subaru Impreza perfectly. I had to cut a small chunk out of the plastic bumper cover and fiddle with it a lot but the bolt holes line up perfectly once you get everything in place and aligned.

I installed this on my 1997 Subaru Impreza Outback. Looks like a decent quality hitch.However, this specific hitch I received was bent on one side. When installing I had to pull the bar over so the bolts would line up and screw into the frame without stripping.Wasn't really impressed, especially since there were cheaper options, and this was "guaranteed to fit"My advise is to check fitment before you start taking down your exhaust etc with this one if you decide to order.

havnt towed with it yet but it bolted right up, looks great.

Mounting flange was bent on arrival which peeled the cheap plastic paint from the bare un-primed steel. Unfinished welds with lack of penetration which caused the weld to fail as shown in the photos. Also all the open seams with Poor quality paint make for great spots for corrosion to start. They weren’t even able to take the time to scrape the spatter and wire ends off the welds before paint. If you’re trying to carry anything heavier than a bicycle please find a better hitch.
