Know you have the best customer service
I had an issue with my first kit that I bought from Demon. I contacted them through Amazon. They immediately contacted me. I told him of my problem which was I was missing a certain tool. I really don’t believe it was their fault. I think this was a kit that got mixed up as a new kit from Amazon. Nevertheless, demon took very good care of me and made sure that I was taken care of. I buy all my ski supplies from them now being top quality and knowing that they stand by their products, I am always going to be a demon customer.

Works Great
The kit came with everything it said it would. Took me a minute to find the metal scraper and one of the files but its in the brush bag. Ive ptexed 2 small holes and have waxed two sets of skis on them so far. So far everything is working fine. The iron worked great. The scrappers worked great. The brushes worked great. Not the most comfortable in your hand but they get the job done fine. I havent used the stone or the edge tuner yet but they seem like theyd get the trick done too. Curious to see how it holds up after another 10 tune ups. The only complaint is i wish the cord on the iron was longer but worked fine with a 6 foot extension. Id recommend this to anyone wanting to try there hand at taking care of there own ski or snowboard. Id guess the block of wax that comes with it could do 30-40 pairs of skis, after the two i did it maybe was 1/8 through the first chunk of wax.

Good for first time
This was my first go at waxing a snowboard and I ordered this kit. It came with everything I needed and after watching some YouTube tutorials I was able to wax and tune my board like a pro. The only thing that I would change to make this the perfect kit would be a slightly bigger iron with a temperature reading, but this one performs well enough for a beginner.

good tools, questionable wax and base cleaner
My kit came with everything listed plus a gummi stone for edges which was not even mentioned in the description but was a very nice bonus. The brushes, files and edge tools are all decent to good quality. My brass brush has minor uneven length of the bristles but that doesn't matter for that particular brush; it's only for removing old wax so it doesn't have to be precision. The horsehair and nylon brushes didn't have that problem and gave a good finish. It took me half the tiny bottle of base cleaner to remove all the old wax once so it's fairly underpowered and I expect most store bought citrus cleaner is better. The iron heated quickly and performed ok; a slightly convex curved shape would be more effective on tips and tails but it's fine. The weakest link in this kit is probably the wax itself. If you know how to be economical with application and not wildly over-apply your wax, this enormous block of it will last a long time and it would be great if you have a sintered base and like to do a bunch of cleaning cycles with cheap wax, but it's a questionably soft formula. Even after leaving it overnight at room temp before finishing it still takes fingerprints and scuffs from the slightest touch and it should set up harder than that. I might give it away and buy a better brand of wax but I'll see how it performs on hill

Complete kit with high quality items for diy
First time waxing a snowboard. Got a hand me down and the rails and base were pretty beat up. This kit worked really well and the board bottom looks almost new again. I was surprised the gaps filled with pex probably need a second application. Waxing went on very well and scraping is really messy. The brushes worked well. Really nice kit and for the money the only thing i purchased extra was an edge kit with three grades of sharpening stones as the edges were in really bad shape. Br sure to wet the stones. When waxing constantly move the iron and go over the board multiple times once the wax is applied. I think i made five passes and the board looked great after the wax was applied, scraped and brushed. Son did not get to use it before the season ended so we will see how i did next year.

Good, comprehensive kit - pretty much everything you need
This is a high-quality, comprehensive kit. I wanted a complete set so I could start maintaining my board myself, instead of taking it to the shop. I learned how to use everything by watching YouTube videos - just search for snowboard tuning and sort by view count. This kit includes 3 brushes - the brass one is for cleaning the board before waxing, and then nylon and horsehair, which are for after waxing. Includes a guided edge filer, several scrapers (metal and plastic), some ptex, and lots more stuff. The iron gets plenty hot. One note on the guided filer - the angles (88 and 90) are printed on the side. Put the side with the angle you want toward the board.A couple things that you should plan on adding to your kit:1) A permanent marker, like a Sharpie. Use this for edge filing - see the YouTube videos to see what I'm talking about.2) A snowboard vise. Useful but can be pricey - there are DIY options if you're frugal.

Great kit for first timer
I never waxed a snowboard before but now I bought one for me, my wife and daughter.I watched a couple videos on how to do this and now I’m pretty good at it. I wasn’t gonna be paying to wax our three snowboards after every 5 or 6 times we go boarding. It gets expensive and this kit does a great job and saves me money.

Great Product 5/5
Product is great. Plan and simple. There are no real negatives for me. The product does exactly what you want. I've snowboarded my own, friends, and family boards. Some were extremely nasty and rusty. I had no problems.BEWARE! There are a lot of mixed instructions on how to tune your snowboard. Through my research, there is no reason to edge tune your base edge. You should just make sure there are no nicks on your base edge by filing, but only edge tune your sides. There is a tool meant to edge tune your base, but not included in this kit. The tool included is meant for your side edges.I would say the brushes are a must and lets you admire the board. Makes the snowboard looks so much nicer.
