Bossman Relaxing Beard Balm - Beard Tamer, Relaxer, Thickener and Softener Cream - Made in USA (Hammer Scent)

This beard balm is great! Easy to scrape out of the container, spreads evenly on your hands to put into your beard, and smells amazing. It’s basically like chapstick for your entire beard. Amazing product. Definitely going to buy again.

I've tried several brands of beard balm and I think Bossman is my favorite so far. It does exactly what I want it to, which is mainly to make my beard not itch so much. It also makes me look more like a human and less like a bigfoot. Smells pretty good too. I tried the hammer scent this time, plan to try all four of their scents in the future. Good price, American company, good product, can't go wrong.

As mentioned in my review of the Hammer beard oil, i had run out of my own beard oil and needed something to deal with my wiry white and gray goatee. I purchased the Relaxing Balm to avoid any "cross-scenting". The Hammer fragrance is fantastic! The combined effects of the beard oil and the relaxing balm are easy gentle control and softness. The unexpected bonus is that my goatee is for the first time shiny and dare I say it may even sparkle! Keep it up Bossman! Can't wait to try more.

This stuff works great on your beard and your lips as a lip balm--doesn't taste bad and is very nourishing with all the natural oils. It isn't oily or shiny and has a very light hold. Great small company--cares about their quality and their customers! I ordered the balm in the hammer scent and wasn't too sure about the scent when I received it. A little too much geranium for my liking--I feel like it'd be better left out, but that very subjective personal preference. I wrote them that I wasn't too keen on the scent and they sent me a different scent to try and said they'd make sure I ended up with one I liked. Great customer service!

I was excited to get this Bossman Beard Balm since other beard softeners or conditions didn’t do much for me. After applying the recommended amount of the balm to my beard (growing in for 3 months now so it’s not super long), I could see and feel how much better control it was going to give me over Wild hairs and other unwieldy parts of my wolf like jawline. Unfortunately, the smell got to me within 5 min post application. This may be more of a personal preference, but the odor is VERY HEAVY! My wife, passing me in the hallway, said she could almost taste it, given how powerful the smell was. After 15 min of trying to power through it, I had to shampoo my face to get some of the smell off. Again - more of a personal preference of scents, but this particular version of Bossmans Relaxing Beard Balm is overpowering in odor. Not sure if they plan on creating a more subtle scent, but I’d be more than happy to be a continued customer if so!

I use Bossman exclusively and I love the scent of this one. But it turns to oil at the slightest touch. I don't think it is supposed to do that, none of the other Bossman balms I use do. I scrape of the proper amount and rub it a little and this one turns to oil while the others maintain a more solid texture. I still love Bossman, just hope I got a bad can.
