My husband and I have an old furniture set in our dining room. That is about 15 years old and the top of the table was definitely weathered with a lot of the kids painting projects over the years when they were small. Instead of going out and buying a brand new table we re-purposed the chairs, and I found this contact paper that looks very realistic to word from Amazon. The best decision I ever made it took us about one hour tops.Tip: Make sure that you only work in small sections when spreading the paper onto your surface. Make sure you clean your surface and a rough it up with a little bit of sandpaper.It is also easy to remove and re-stick. My husband and I could peel it back and re-stick with no problem.I also took a needle and poked a tiny little hole to release air pockets. it looks completely incredible.

I had done a lot of research to use contact paper for my very ugly and messed up counter in my rental apartment. I couldn’t stand it. I was very skeptical about this project but figured that even if it didnt look great, it would look better than it looked. I love the results! It is so much better than expected and I am very happy with the results ! Would highly recommend this brand. I like that it has a really light texture that gives it that realistic look. Bubbles are hard to see in this print so make sure that you are checking for bubbles while you are i stalling it otherwise you will end up with lots of bubbles. I had to pu back and readjust a couple of times.

My first time using contact paper and it was easy! I cleaned the table with a disinfecting wipe first and let it completely dry. I cut the paper to the size of the table top with about a half inch extra all around to wrap it under the table. I used a small wallpapering tool lot to assist. Pushing all the air out as I unrolled the backing a few inches at a time. It turned out amazing. I would purchase this paper again.

I put this on my laminate kitchen countertops. I’d Recommend buying the kit with the exacto knife and smoothing tool. It takes a but if time to get the hang of the install process but it’s not too bad, especially if you are crafty. This is much thicken than any other contact paper I’ve found. No one ever can tell it isn’t real butcher block.

I never leave reviews but this was amazing. Real butcher block countertops were too expensive for our renovation so I decided to try this because of the price. I have sent the link to all of our friends because they were so impressed! There is definitely a learning curve when using this but once you figure it out it goes by fast.

The media could not be loaded.  I originally installed this in the summer of 2021 and adored it. However if you have splatter painted countertops like me (landlord special), be aware that the pattern will rub off due to the texture on the counters. It started rubbing off pretty quickly for me just by placing my cutting board on top of it. It also will not budge without taking the finish off of the counter underneath it, but that was a risk I was willing to take when I purchased. Overall I loved how it looked, just wish it was a little more durable.

Unfortunately I had to return as the color had a little bit more orange in it than I was expecting based on the picture shown. There is already some oak wood in my kitchen and the different shades didn't work work together. I am probably being a bit picky here (too much time working in graphics dept.), but the image of the butcher block seemed a tad bit cartoony, like it was blown up slightly from original size. Not sure it would be noticed by most? I did return it, but wish it had worked for my purposes. It's hard to find this product in such a great width and a good price.

If you want to protect your new cabinets that have the birch picture on press board which most have. Use this and cut it nice install carefully and it looks like you never did. It's very durable vinyl do it. Once on the bottoms and shelves and forget about it.

I'd recommend being two people though, and going slowly and bit by bit - there's a lot of bubbles you need to attend to. But once it's up, it looks great!
