Plaid Creates Paint by Number Kit (16 by 20-Inch), Tree in Town Square

This painting by Norman Rockwell is a great painting to do. It takes a lot of patience and a steady hand to complete all of the straight lines involved in the painting. Colors are great and easy to use no mixing involved. Plaid is a great company and I only buy Plaid Paint By Numbers because they are easy to use. A lot of fun doing this one, I completed two of them already.

I feel when I finish this paint by number, it will be beautiful! But, it has many, many tiny places to paint! Personally I am painting it using a magnifying glass. This is not for a beginner, but if you take your time and are careful you will probably have a beautiful painting to be proud of!

I'm not sure who's crazier -- the person who drew and marked this for painting or me for painting it! There were spaces smaller than the head of a pin! I couldnt have finished this piece without a magnifying glass!That said, it was a most enjoyable project and a lovely scene! Great for relaxation around the holiday and beyond. I love Dimension kits because you don't have to mix paints. It was fun!Claudia Staberg

I am enjoying this project. It is very detailed, but comes with a practice paper sheet of the same picture to practice on prior to starting the main picture. Only suggestion I have would be to include two paint brushes, one that is alot smaller and finer in size.

Found this to be a nice painting but some areas were so tiny I could barely see them or find a paintbrush small enough for the space that was the frustrating part of this paint by number kit. Otherwise, if and when I can finish it will hopefully look decent, close enough to the real thing!

I am working on this painting now, it will take a while because there is a lot of detail, which I like. I look forward to coming home and painting for an hour or so a night. Would buy another, it actually is the second one I bought. My husband received the first as a gift.

I saw this picture, Tree in Town Square, when i was looking for a Christmas picture for my living room on another website and loved it. I was ecstatic to see it as a paint by number -- a pastime from when i was a child and am enjoying again! I was very pleased with the canvas, the paints, everything. I am also very pleased that Amazon has so very much to offer.

Love this wintery, Christmasy scene. Good quality, great paint colors, lots of fun in the works. It will be fun to frame when done.
