Accomplish the goal.... barely.
These are just okay. Do they do the intended job of keeping people from tampering without you noticing? Yes. Are they easily pulled out of the way? Yes. Do the set screws strip out at even the hint of over-tightening? Yes. But they accomplish the goal. You'd know if they were taken off, and if they're in place you know the connection hasn't been tampered with.If someone came out with the same thing in metal, they'd have my business in a heartbeat.

Great idea: didn't work
Great concept, but we ended up returning them because they're too hard to put on in a multi-outlet situation. The holes in the cord lock aren't threaded and the little screws were very hard to turn and get to go in straight. We ended up just putting zip ties on the connectors we want to stay in so no one can engage the clip to remove them.

Cheap and easy to use tamper deterrent
These rj-45 plug locks came really well packaged and installed in minutes. They are made of plastic and wouldn't stop someone determined to access a network, but they do deter a casual cable pirate and will show if a cable has been tampered with. Would recommend as an extremely cheap alternative to a nac.

Plastic Lock
plastic locks...not metal. My renters snapped them open with a screw driver. great idea...but not secure.

Better alternatives exist at lower cost
Overpriced. Accomplish the goal of blocking the port, but look very bulky. Better alternatives exist at lower cost.

Absolutely worthless
These things do NOT work. They are made of cheap plastic which means that you cannot tighten them enough to be of any use at all. You can easily just pull them right off without even trying. Other than as a visual deterrant, these offer 0% security and are a TOTAL waste of money.
