These plates are perfect for a person who cooks for one, or for anyone who wants to prepare anything and save it. The lids fit nicely. The dish sections are sized well. I am very happy with this purchase. Highly recommend. This is from a lazy person's perspective. Remember, we like the shortcuts. And saving leftovers.

I frequently make too much for dinner. These divided plates are perfect for leftovers. They sealwell and make it easy to go from refrigerator to microwave. They are so pretty, too!

My young adult children are rarely home when hubby and I sit down to eat dinner so I find myself dividing our leftovers amongst the two quite frequently. These divided plates make that task a whole lot easier and they keep the food from mingling. The plates themselves are fairly sturdy. The only complaint that I have is that the lids have warped a little from placing them on the top rack in our dishwasher. We can still use them and they still fit atop the plates but they do not have a firm seal around the plates. If the plates are tipped, they will leak. If it weren't for this I would have given a 5 star rating. Honestly, I don't recommend washing them in the dishwasher. I wish I hadn't.

So far, I'm very satisfied with the divided plates. I tend to make a lot of homemade frozen dinners and these storage plates and lids are doing a fine job.

First, let me say that we will keep, and use the plates, just not for the purpose we had intended. The covers do not "lock" or secure themselves to the plates, and easily slide off. And, there is no indication that they are microwave safe. We had intended them as meal delivery plates for a family that we assist with prepared food. I was thrilled to re-discover Miles Kimball. The Miles Kimball catalog was my dream book and took me thru many Wisconsin winters.

I love these! I live alone and am trying to stay on a diet. Cooking for one meant that I would usually be eating the same thing for several nights. Also, making up a plate of food from several storage containers seemed a chore.I remembered that when my Mom was elderly I used divided microwaveable plates to put together varied meals from our family dinner leftovers.I searched the internet for such plates and found these.They hold just the right amount, seem to hold up great in the dishwasher top shelf and have a little vented top for the microwave.Now, I enjoy cooking different weight watcher recipes and freeze the leftovers. I always have a varied dinner choice.Why didn't I think of this sooner??Will be buying more.

I bought this series of four plastic plates for my sons (ages 6 and 8) to bring every day for their school lunch. The three compartments are perfect (to separate dessert from main dish for example), but the tops are very hard to close, and sometimes the lids would pop open, so if there was any food left on the plates after their lunch, it leaked into the school bags, and the fork, knife, spoon that they contained would dirty the inside of the bags. It was even hard for me to close the lid. I never put the lids in the dishwasher, having read the reviews about how it could change their shape. The plates would go on the upper rack of the dish washer and get clean, but if I cleaned them by hand, it was hard to get the oil off. They were just not great for the use I had intended, and I don't see how they can be of any use, since they are not leak proof. I wish I could find the perfect metal plates with a metal lid to match, instead of this plastic.
