Snug Kids Ear Defenders - Noise Cancelling Headphones Protectors for Children, Toddlers and Baby (Cats)

These ear defenders do their job and are comfortable on my child’s head. We recently used the ear defenders for a fireworks display and they worked wonderfully! My child also loves the design because she loves unicorns. Another good thing about these ear defenders is that they are foldable, so it makes them easy to carry around. They cancel out perfect amount of noise, so my child can still hear us when we speak to her. Overall, these are brilliant ear defenders and I would definitely recommend to people who are searching for this type of thing!

I suffer from a number of sound-based problems, including misophonia, sensory issues due to autism, and auditory processing disorder. I first purchased a black pair of these headphones about a month ago, and was so satisfied, I bought another pair in red. I have been extremely satisfied with this product. FUNCTION: They do not cut out sound completely, but rather muffle loud noises and reduce the often painful sensations of them hitting my ears. They cut out most background noise but still enable me to hear what people are saying, and have conversations. DESIGN: Adjustable size that fits most heads, very comfortable with padded sides and headband, and easy to fold away compactly. They look like normal, music-playing headphones, which is a plus for anybody who wants to look discreet, and are not ugly to wear. PROBLEMS: The ends of the faux leather headband covering is tucked into the soft padding underneath, but sometimes the ends come loose and have to be either pushed back in (not an easy task), or remain free (where they are about as irritating as a loose thread or missing button). When not around a head, the cups move back together, which means that the headphones cannot be comfortably stored around one's neck when not being used. If one wants/needs to remove them for a short period of time, they have to be taken off completely. These are both minor issues, especially in comparison to the relief this product has brought me personally. PERSONAL EXPERIENCE: I ordered this product last month after having an episode during an orchestra rehersal due to loud percussion instruments. Since then, I have bought another pair in a different colour and intend to collect all of the colours. Both times, the product has arrived a day early, with both headphones and packaging in good condition. The product has helped reduce the number and severity of my episodes and my general stress levels, and improved my emotional wellbeing and memory (both of which are affected by my medical issues).

On a previous trip to a noisy motor sport event I had used regular foam earplugs (by the way I'm 50 years old) and had found that with repeated removal to chat in between events they became useless. Knowing I had another event to go to I started looking for ear defenders as an alternate and came across these Snug Safe Ear Defenders. Although the main header says they are for kids, the description indicates that will also fit adults. The product was exactly as described and in some great colours to choose from. I can say they do expand very well for an adult and were perfect for my needs. They start off nice and compact, with the ear mufflers tucking up under the headstrap, which makes them great for carrying in a bag. They then pull out and the headstrap extends to your head size. The mufflers are really good with great sound reduction for the noisy stuff yet you can chat and hear without the need to remove , if you like. I would highly recommend. Extremely fast delivery and well made product.

Had these a while now, like maybe, 3 years. Daughter is now ten and they still fit due to being adjustable. Recently bought another pair just for variation - the lama ones. They are very effective at minimising noise - my daughter is autistic so can be noise sensitive. They are nice and soft around the edges so no discomfort. Love the funky designs. Overall, very happy with them. Pic is Brands Hatch - very noisy cars yet look how chilled she is. Should tell you all you need to know!

Over Xmas my neighbours were really noisy all day for days and was fed up of their cacophony, and thin walls don't help. I was using silicone in ear plugs, but they hurt after a while, so was looking for an alternative. I tried these, they looked cute, pink, and lightweight, as a slim woman did not want to be encumbered by heavy headphones, and didn't want them for music, so thought these may be worth a pop. When I put them on my head, they fit well, and looked cute, but the cup part really pressed into my ears and side of my head, which hurt, and they made the din next door sound hollow, like holding a shell to your ear on the beach, but not sufficiently to muffle it out, the loud shouting, music, banging, thumping doors etc that my lovely neighbours do every time my partner is away at his mums for some reason, and so I decided to return them. I still find the only way to block them out is silicone in ear plugs or headphones with music, noise cancelling doesn't work either. Its a shame as they look good, they may be better for kids perhaps as stated or for people who don't want the sound of silence, just the sound of muffle (imagine if that had been a Simon and Garfunkel song!)

My 7 year old has Dyspraxia and is very sensitive to noise. Not just loud noise but noise period. For years I did not understand what was going on. I just knew she needed headphones as she is very prone to noise. I bought them and they are a life saver. I know longer feel bad for her when we're out and a baby cries or if we are at Disney the fireworks won't be too loud for her. I wish I wouldve thought to buy these sooner. Theyre comfortable and they came in her favorite color pink! Great fot for kids. I even tried them on and they were very comfortable. Update: We used them this weekend at Disney World and she did not want to take them off! They worked like a gem. I am just so sorry I didn't know about these when she was a lot younger!

I got these for my kids, and in addition to fitting them comfortably, I can use them too. I wear a 7.5 hat, and they work just fine on me. They are as good or better quality than what you get at the hardware store, and pop out color-wise in the garage. Easy to find, comfortable to wear.

I looked at many earmuffs before deciding on these and I can't put into words how grateful I am for finding this product. My otherwise very confident 3-year-old is extremely afraid of fireworks and other loud noises (like the vacuum,) but these dull the noises very effectively and help my child to feel confident and secure. My child loves them and never complains about them being uncomfortable. I took my children on a trip recently to see a real working vintage railroad and these protected their ears from the extremely loud station whistle. Both employees and parents alike were commenting on what a great idea they were and it saved my son from having to constantly cover his ears. They are well-made and should fit pretty much any child. They are designed in a way so they fit a variety of ages - my 8-year-old also wears them just fine, and even I can put them on without discomfort. I bought several pairs and keep one in the car. A truly fantastic product for a child with sensitive ears or a need for less sensory input at times.

This is the worst product that I bought from Amazon by far. Poorly made and not same as in description of this product.

Wir haben den Gehörschutz für unseren damaligen dreijährigen Sohn gekauft. Er wollte das erste Mal Silvester mit uns feiern und sich das Feuerwerk ansehen. Da ich aber als fürsorgliche Mutter Bedenken wegen den lauten Knaller hatte, haben wir uns für den Snug Safe n Sound Kindergehörschutz entschieden. Die Lieferung erfolgte zügig. Die Verarbeitung des Gehörschutzes ist sehr gut. Sie lassen sich in der Größe verstellen. Die kleinste Stufe passte damals perfekt für meinen Sohn. Jetzt, zwei Jahre später, haben wie die Größe problemlos angepasst. Der Sitz ist immer noch gut und drückt nicht. Trotzdem umschließt der Schutz sehr gut die kompletten Ohren und schützt sie hervorragend vor Lärm. Fazit: Ich würde den Gehörschutz jederzeit wieder kaufen und bin froh, dass die Ohren meines Sohnes gut vor Lärm geschützt sind.
