Great quality
Tour de France Puzzle was fun to do. I really enjoyed the graphic design of this puzzle. Very good quality. Pieces fit together nicely. The pieces are the same shape which makes it more challenging in areas of solid color. The underside of the pieces are marked with a letter (A-H) identifying what section it belongs in. This helps to make sure you have the right piece in the right place and going in the right direction. I often had to remove a piece for the puzzle to make sure the marking on the underside lined up properly, to insure I had the right piece.I was surprised when I received this puzzle. When I opened the box, the puzzle was assembled and separated into sections which were stacked together to fit precisely in the box. The box isn’t large enough to contain the pieces after you take the puzzle apart. The company should use a bigger box.Note for the first time doing the puzzle: when separating the assembled sections, keep them in separate piles to make it easier to put together. It’s not cheating and it’s still challenging

Pieces chipped
I love the design of the puzzle, but the pieces themselves are made of pressed wood and they splintered. Very strange material. Pieces also do not fit together cleanly.

Real wood jigsaw puzzle
This is the first time I’ve ever worked a real jigsaw puzzle! That said, it is rough on the fingertips! Being cut on a jig, all pieces are identically cut, which means using the flip side labeled with letters is a necessity to ensure everything is in the right place- especially with large sections that are solid color. It was fun, but definitely a different kind of puzzle!
