Nice radio for the price point. Seems well made and the tuning works well. Good reception from AM and FM stations where I live. Sound is good for most AM stations and decent for FM stations. Much better radio than the similar sized one that I had as a kid in the '60s. Haven't tried using the blue tooth as I didn't buy the radio for that feature, but it might be nice if I ever need it. For the price this radio is a good value.

I listen to talk radio while at work, and have recently started listening to podcasts. I bought this to replace my clock radio and had no real expectations as the station I listen to is low power and reception is always questionable.This little unit works great and sounds great. I don't need to extend the antenna to get great reception.The bluetooth paired right up.

Pluses: Excellent quality speaker, fairly clear sounding, large enough for outdoors. 3 D size batteries "should" power the unit for many days. Bluetooth easily pairs with phone having the BT app (the sound is acceptable here, but not amazing!) Solid build quality. Minuses: a periodic clicking noise on some AM stations could be quite annoying (this is not really an uncommon problem on some of the DSP chip tuners on even more expensive radios.) Specs: (Approx) Height with handle extended 6.5 inches; depth 2.5 inches; width 8.5 inches. (Cord is supplied for AC power; I've only used the radio with batteries.) Tuner: seems easier to lock onto the stations than most DSP chip radios I've tried; but some patience is required; with chips it's ususlly a clear "yes" or "no" on the station, so the extended antenna may need to be moved about on the FM or the radio repositioned on the AM to lock onto signals, very notably on the lower output stations. Value for the money? The golden age of portable radios may have passed, but this one is still a keeper!

First of all let me say Im a bit of a radio nerd.......That being said.....I needed a radio to use outdoors while I workout at the park...a wooded area.....I listen to npr and other talk radio.....so it had to be CLEAR AND LOUD enough to overcome overhead airplanes (AN AIRFORCE BASE NEARBY)....I have bought and returned several radios in this price range....and I can tell you THIS ONE IS THE KEEPER!! It projects the human voice very well...has lots of volume....for a 3 inch speaker.....Music on fm is also good if you dont expect too much as far as bass....but very BRIGHT sounding.....good CLARITY!....GOOD for people who work outside in the yard ect...

I bought this radio for my Mom who loves it so much she won’t let us near it. The sound quality is GREAT…..the weight is just right and what we love most is that it has a handle for easy carry. Channels are crystal clear and easy to find and the price for this quality electronic is well worth it.

I bought this little radio specifically for the garage. I wanted something cheap and that worked well. This radio does just that, very simple to use. All of my regular stations come in crystal clear and the bluetooth is connection is good. I will probably never use batteries in this so I cant speak on battery life.

Not sure how it got the 5 star reviews. If you have a specific place you want to put the radio, you might be disappointed at the reception.

Do not buy, radio stopped working within 2 weeks. Stopped receiving stations and Bluetooth stopped working as well.
