I must admit I felt very doubtful purchasing this Smeg kettle solely based off the bad reviews I’ve read and heard online. However, thankfully everything has been in working condition and I haven’t experienced any issues or complaints so far. Hopefully it stays that way and I’ve had this kettle for almost a year. It’s your typical kettle nothing special other than the retro design and of course the brand, but it does what it’s meant to do. I do appreciate the aesthetics it brings to my kitchen. Other than that I would recommend!

Poor quality kettle. Cheaply made. Not worth the price. Mine actually arrived damaged. I also ordered a coffee maker from another seller, which also arrived cracked. Like these are cheap plastic if both order arrive completely broken from a little shaking in transit. For the price they should be able to withstand shipping OR or the seller’s should take more care in wrapping.Also, this seller specifically ignored my messages about the damaged product. They never responded or issued my refund after I sent back the return promptly. Poor practice and unprofessional to make me wait weeks for my money back after you send me damaged product. Huge hassle all around I ultimately had to contact Amazon direct to refund me since this seller would not respond. Their answer of course is to contact the seller. Give the seller more time. After 3 weeks they finally obliged and refunded me. Still no acknowledgment from the seller, I know they got my kettle it says delivered back to them. My suggestion is to just go to the store if you want this bad enough. Do not order it from here.
