4 Cu.Ft. Electric Poly Drum Concrete Mixer

After a lot of research I decided on paying a bit more for this design. I found the mixers with 3 inside stir bars performed best. I found the low roller wheels and low dump profile worked great. Improvements I think the roller wheels could use some bearings. They seem a bit noisy. I have only used this for 16 bags of 60# Quikrete. I used 1 bag at a time, but think 2 x 60lb would work. It cleaned up easy after use. The assembled easily. It came in a big box. I think I replace the cotter pin for a improved pin. Very pleased with this product.

Works great and good customer service. Out of the box the drum was out of round (oblong.) I've previously owned a metal drum mixer so this was new to me. I contacted the company and they immediately responded to my concerns about the shape of the drum. They gave me some tips to "round it out" but it didn't really make a difference. The mixer worked fine and upon some internet research noticed that most plastic drum mixers don't retain a perfect circular drum like the metal ones do. Still, it works fine and I've run at least 50 bags of cement through it with no problems.

Easy to Setup and Easy to use. My son and I poured a 10 X 12-foot slab in half a day. Mixed 2 80-pound bags of concrete and 2 gallons of water for each batch. Then added a bit more water as needed. The mixer ran continuously for the entire job and was easy to clean. It is low to the ground so can be a bit difficult to move when full but by being low it is easier to add the cement. Would highly recommend.

I have been using this about a week to mix mortar for a large manufactured stone installation. I picked it because it had a little more horsepower than the cheap harbor freight units. Assembly was quick and easy. It does the job just fine. If you are pouring concrete in post holes it’s perfect, I had to put it on a small stack of pallets to get it high enough to pour mortar into a tub. The motor doesn’t get hot so I feel like it isn’t being taxed where it will fail early. It does jerk when you turn it on, so I definitely would not try to start it with any material in the drum to prevent damage. I like that they used acorn nuts so it looks nice, unfortunately the paint was damaged on mine. The box wasn’t damaged, the piece was just free to move in the packaging and got marred a bit. The plastic drum is easy to get clean, and it does a great job mixing the components to make mortar both dry, and once the water is in. Overall I would buy this again and recommend it to a friend.

This concrete mixer was very easy to put together by myself it is a good size mixer. One issue I had was connecting the motor to the frame one of the bolts would not fully tighten so only 3 of the bolts got tight will see how this effects the operation when the mixer is used. I haven’t had the opportunity to use the concrete mixer yet but if there is an issue I’ll see if the bolt can be replaced

This little mixer worked awesome I could put 2 80 pound bags of concrete and mixed awesomely made quick work of the job I had

I was a little worried this mixer would not mix well but was pleasantly surprised. I have mixed 181 bags of 80# Sakrete with no problems. It has saved me a lot of time and effort, sure beats a wheelbarrow and hoe. Great for small jobs.
