This has four holes per inch. It is very sturdy and has lasted many years. For those of you who haul your papers to an office store, this is an excellent investment because it will save you money.For those like me who homeschool, this has become an important tool in my equipment. I can bind lesson plans that are personalized for each kid. I can bind a set of worksheets that I want them to complete on a certain subject or topic. I can bind their portfolio for the year so I ahve it in a nice and neat manner. etc etc. the uses are endless.Well worth the money. Enjoy.

I bought this machine because I had to do some binding of legal papers, and I always wanted a binding machine for my home office. It is really easy to use, and if you aren't doing hundreds of binds, it's really all you need. Don't get fooled into buying something that has power, this is a perfect little tool.

This product is excellent. It is heavy and solid and can punch professionally through 7-10 sheets of paper easily. It can even easily punch through thicker plastic covers! My only issue is I have not found a spiral binding that works well yet, which has nothing to do with the machine.Here is an update: I was scrolling through my old reviews. I wrote this in 2014 and it's now 2017.....this machine is still fantastic. Order it with confidence.

Machine is easy to use and works great! Highly recommend if you need to make spiral books. Sturdy construction and not too heavy.

I'm pleased with it's heavy sturdy structure. Only one moving plastic part is the knob on the left that you slide back and forth for adjusting placement of the paper and that part does not bear any stress to use. From my estimation, this should service me for the many years to come and my family after me!

I am so returning this ****.It does not work with the pages of my textbook.This design is so flawed.I need to buy one where i can actually see where the holes are punched.I'll write a lengthy review soon. I'm too angry right now.

Pros: Easy to use and works well.Cons: A little pricey considering it's essentially a hole punch device. Can be a little noisy when punching.

Works well for someone who's only doing some binding here and there. I think I'm going to need a more production style machine soon.One note, when the "punch catcher" gets full the only way I can tell is that the paper I'm punching will get goofed up a little.But like I said, wonderful for binding here and there.
