Not sure what you might actually spiraluse with this. It’s small and seemed to me to need two pairs of hands to manage. Design wise it is pretty!

I expected allot more quality from a Zwilling product.The plastic slider is so flimsy it comes off of the sides and the cheese or whatever you are trying to grate escapes defeating the whole purpose of the design.The blades are ok and can be used manually just watch your fingers.I can not recommend this device because knowing what I know now, I would not buy it.To Zwilling I say recall these and fix your glaring design flaw these should never have been released to market especially at such a high price point with such disgraceful performance.2 stars because I can still use this even if not in the intended manner, almost 1 star due to the price, heck I could by a cheap hand grater and achieve the same results.

The grey piece, which you put the food into to slice/ grate, pops out of the track very easily and then your food falls out of the holder and it just doesn’t work. Also, the place you put the food product is so small, there is no way you can do nice long slices, like you might want for vegetables. I returned it.

The sliding piece on this would not engage in the horizontal grooves on each side of the Mandoline, making it impossible to slice or grate anything. Not having used a Mandoline before, I thought it was ME! It took many hours (at least 3) of my time to finally speak to someone at Zwilling who actually knew the product enough to help me, after sending a demo video. I decided I wasn't going to take a chance on another one, and returned it.

Not suprised that it worked so well we owned zwilling Knifes for 25 years and never had a problem yes I highly recommend it is worth the money yes it does cut in both directions
