Although you can use it in washing machine but it is not a concentrate so might require a lot of product to clean in washing machine. Hope this information helps .

how does this rinse off ? in other detergents - no matter how hard one tries - the there is always detergent residue left behind.

Use smaller amounts of the product it will rinse off easily and no residue left behind. Using it on daily basis and have no such issues.
