Orange Two Stroke Active Dual-Parametric EQ/Boost Guitar Effects Pedal

This works wonders either if you need to drive the front of the amp in a particular way or place into the effects loop to modify what your preamp tone is sending. The Q on each band always seems to be exactly what I’m looking for (nice). To find the right spot, first max/min the level for hi or lo, sweep the freq to where you want then go back and adjust the level to taste. Takes literally 5 sec. Very nice clean boost (oil) with freq set to 12 o’clock (where the freq are disabled entirely). Noise not an issue at all. Really impressed.

Does not alter your amps signature sound, just gives the ability to tweak the EQ and gives a killer clean boost.

Brilliant pedal. It's great for clean boost and/or tone shaping. You can add or subtract bass and treble from your signal independently. I find this to be better than the traditional tone knob that most boost pedals have. Every knob can be set to neutral if you don't wish for them to be altered in your tone. It is, by far, the best boost pedal that I've run in to my Orange Rockerverb 50 MII 2x12 combo. As Orange amps are notoriously finicky about pedals running in front of the amp, I was rated. It's also brilliant in front of my Peavey 5150 Mk I. As with my '83 TS-9, this pedal will be a permanent fixture on my board.

The Laney IRT series has great overdrive but the EQ totally SUCKS. This pedal fixes tbat issue.

Nice tones, good boost! The packaging was really nice. Right out of the box I plugged it in and played and it sounds great. I tried it in the front and the effects loop. They both sound good.

I bought this to help with an overly bright amplifier from Hughes & Kettner. I was ready to sell y new Tubemeister Deluxe 20 due to the overwhelming lack of mid and bass. Adding this box now gives this amp the tone I have always been looking for. I have tried multiple alternatives from MXR, Xotic, and others but they never really did the job of transforming my sound for the better. Highly recommended.
