This is the perfect shoe. Sizing was a bit weird but I was able to return mine and get a different size. I routinely walk over 10,000 steps at work with these shoes and this was the most comfortable. No shoe laces makes it nice since I don't have to stop to tie my shoes. The quality is amazing. It is nice and light. Perfect work shoes.

You can tell right away that the Ecco Helsinki 2.0 Slip-On is made with high-quality leather and materials. The craftsmanship feels solid, and the shoe itself feels built to last—comfortable, durable, and well-constructed. However, the picture online was very different than the color I received. The picture online is similar to a tan or honey color. But, the actual color is more of a dark brown. I would have preferred the honey color as shown online. The only issue I have is with the color. The cognac shade shown online looks lighter and more tan, but in person, it’s actually a darker brown. Still, it’s a great-looking shoe overall—just not the exact color I expected.

Even though the title says the last dress shoe you’ll ever buy, this is actually my 2nd pair of ECCO dress shoes. My last pair was purchased at a retail store in 2007 (yes 18 years ago) I wore them 4 days a week for years, they looked as good and were as comfortable as the day I bought them. The leather quality, durability and and attention to detail are superb, they never fell apart or needed repaired. The only signs of wear were on the toe cap (from normal wear and tear) and heel (me being lazy and stepping on the back of the shoe to take it off). I had no reason to buy another pair, that was until my new puppy decided It was time to retire them, and chewed the upper a few months ago, even then I still wore them. After a lot of research I liked the look of the Helsinki. ECCOs fit true to size. I bought the same size but they have been snug but I figured it was because my old ones were worn in over the years. However, they have not loosened up in almost 2 months and the top of my foot has been sore from how tight they are. Hoping they break in, I still wear them a few days a week. This very morning I went to put them on and saw the insole says “Dual fit insole”. Curious I took the insole out to find ANOTHER insole that says “remove for wider fit! I immediately pulled it out and slipped it on and it was instant! These are the shoes I remember! So if they are snug, take out the second insole. I’m sure I’ll have these for another 18 years, provided I keep them put away for any four legged friend!

These shoes have been redesigned and do not fit well any more as the Helsinki 1.0 did, that I previously owned (they have changed the shoe name as well). They now have only one version of this Ecco shoe and they are TIGHT!!! In addition, if you want to return these, they come from GERMANY and to return them back to Amazon you must send them to SLOVAKIA—and pay $50-$100 postage!!! Amazon will only reimburse you $20 for shipping a return back. There is NO information on the Amazon site for these shoes that indicates you must return them to Slovakia and pay exorbitant shipping...this is only explained when you try to return them. I spent 30 minutes at least on the phone with Amazon complaining and they could not (???) change the return order. So I cancelled the return and will be donating these shoes. By the way, they are now only $118 after I paid $145 for them...my loss and stupidity at trusting Amazon AT ALL!!! DO NOT BUY THESE SHOES!!! ECCO IS NOW A BAD BRAND!!!

Well made, good quality and comfort. Fits true to size amd looks great. I would definitely recommend this.
