Snore Shield Anti- snoring chin shield

I probably wouldn't have left this review but the retailer keeps requesting one so here goes: It didn't work. I'm not saying it won't work for you. I just know that it didn't for me. I find myself just as awake at 4am with a dry mouth as I did prior to ordering it. Short of sewing my lower jaw shut, I don't see where it would as I did some experimentation with position. The picture looks like it's pulling the wearer's jaw back (doesn't work) and I also slid the top portion forward slightly from the crown of my head to mechanically attempt to keep the jaw 'shut' (also didn't work). I have it tightened down to the point where I almost can't fall asleep. No, I hadn't drank any alcohol. Yes, I'm remarkably fit with a muscular jaw so it's not an obesity problem. I live alone with my teenage son and my snoring certainly didn't help my last partner want to keep sleeping with me. Therefore, the dry mouth is my only clue that I'm still snoring in the hours before my alarm goes off.Next stop, I guess, is hypnosis to see if I can be programmed to fall asleep on my side and stay there. Then, I guess it's one of those CPAP machines. As a single man in his early forties, I dread having to look at a partner and say, "I'd love to spend the night but I need to go get a noisy machine that helps me breathe."Again, this might work for you. If so, then Great!!! If it doesn't, for God's sake avoid reading 'Why We Sleep' by Matthew Walker. If it hadn't been for that book, I probably wouldn't even care about the 5 hours of sleep that I typically get. Good luck.

Hi Linda: I got your request for a review of the Snore Shield chin strap I ordered. The shipment & delivery were spot on. However, the functionality of the device has been very disappointing. When I put it on before bed and then sleep with it on my head and chin for 7-8 hours, it invariably slides off of my head through the night and thereby does not function correctly because of that, I have tried sleeping with in on my head very tightly and it still manages to slide off of my head. Overall,. Very Disappointing thus far.Regards,Bob

If your like me and have a horrible time snoring or constantly breathing out your mouth this might be something you want to buy. But like anything there is a downside. Its not very comfortable material and I would definitely not sleep through the whole night wearing this. Unless you wear a retainer or moutjguard could see it messing up your teeth. Anyways though, it has really helped me so far. I'm for one breathing out my nose now a lot more and for snoring it has gone down substantial. I've only had it about a week now but besides the the comfort issue I would get if your trying to improve your breathing and sleeping habits

Always Feminine Wipes are one of my favorite luxuries. Even the softest toilet paper doesn't compare to how gently this cleans and refreshes. I prefer Always to other brands because some of the others would dry up and others seemed soggy so, after using it, I had to crouch there for a while to air dry before pulling up my panties. Always is just the right amount, moist enough to clean and refresh while dry enough that I don't have to wait before finishing my transaction.I'm not sure how much is too much information, but let me just say that the comfort these provide is worth it if you suffer from hemorrhoids. They're so miserable to clean with scratchy, sand papery toilet paper whereas with Always they're a breeze. I know that Preparation H makes their own wipes specifically for that purpose but they're so expensive for the one ingredient that they put on the wipes: witch hazel. It's so cheap to buy a bottle of witch hazel and squeeze a dollup onto the Always wipe before using it. I only need to use the witch hazel when they're really acting up. Usually the wipe is sufficient.

It wasn't a good fit on my husband's head.

The ear cut outs do not fit over the ears. I changed to a nasal mask for CPAP machine and I got this to help me keep my mouth closed. Turns out, I can keep my mouth closed. So I don't need it. It did keep my jaw closed when I used it. I just tried without it and found I didn't need it after all. But thanks anyways.

This did not work for me it left me little bumps all over my chin from the mesh inside on the chin part of this. The return process has been very simple. I gave two stars for this reason. This may work for some people but just didn’t for me. They do have a good return policy so that may make it worth trying for yourself. My only suggestion is to make the part that goes against your chin something that won’t scratch up your chin. I record my sleep patterns to see what helps and doesn’t. This definitely didn’t. Just gave marks on my chin with very minor if any assistance in snoring reduction

I had high hopes after reading the reviews on this product but was totally disappointed by it. First there are zero instructions with it so I figured that your ears go in the middle of the strap where the slit is but I couldn’t wear it like that because it would either be digging into the back of my ear or sliding down the back of my head. Even when I wore it over or in front or behind my ears it would slide off the top of my head. It’s like it’s missing another strap to stabilize it so it can’t move. I’ll be looking for a 2 strap model and try that.

Not sure if it works but I felt it was stopping blood circulation .... Strapping it too lose makes it move and i still could open my jaw. Strapping it too thigh felt my head was about to explode due to poor blood circulation. Great idea but not sure if it does work

Ordered this chin strap for my 90 year old father and he really likes it plus my mom says it WORKS!

Nice and wide, prevents the sore chin I got from the res med strap I replaced. Fits my big head!

Product is well made, still trying to see if it works for me.
