This belt is quality in terms of materials and craftsmanship but lacks in functionality for me. The thinness is exactly what I wanted for those pants with thinner loops, but unfortunately the waistband just bends over with this belt on. Seems to be an issue with the waist of the clothing at different body levels and with the belt at varying levels of tightness/looseness. I ended up forcing my wider belt through the loops to avoid having to constantly flip the band and belt back up. Not sure if my personal experience will be yours. Perhaps not an issue for a thin person with a very flat stomach!If this review helps you in your decisions on what belt to purchase, your like is appreciated!

I have always hated belts. They are heavy and pull your pants down as soon as they are unfastened and make an unsightly bulge unless you tuck your top in. I decided to try this in recommendation of my tailor when I lost weight to keep my jeans and dress pants up, so I would not need to consyantly do alterations when I am between sizes. This belt is very light and buckle is completely flat and flush. It is also adjustable so I can continue to tighten as weight comes off

I bought the 2x size and have room to spare. The elastic expands quite a bit. The first time I work it, I had a heck of a time getting the buckle open and my husband had to help me, but after it has opened a few times, it is easily opened and closed. The buckle has held and has not opened on it's own. I would buy it again!

Love this belt, great fit, very comfortable. I do not know it is on till it is time to unbuckle. This belt is not fancy, just wanted belt that was comfortable to wear with jeans and sport pants. Also this type of buckle is easy to operate and does not protrude.

Good for a nice smooth outline under a shirt. With some pants (not all) I can feel the plastic buckle against my skin when I sit down, which is a bit uncomfortable. Otherwise I would have given it five stars. Sturdy, and the buckle operates well.
