My particular concern is dog odors. The kind that make your house smell like dog on a humid day. Will this help with neutralizing those types of odors

I have not had a smelly carpet due to I shampoowith this item regularly ,then shampoo with a hoover shsmpoo.I use both.

Worked great but foamed too much. Is that normal?

I feel like if it foams too much you may have put too much of it in. I’ve seen it foam the tiniest bit on my carpet but I think it’s when I went overboard a bit with the cleaner.
