Sturdy Build
First point: I haven't had to use it yet. Just made sure it fits my 19 mm lug nuts. Build is substantial. Looks like it can take stress. Good leverage is possible. At first I wasn't sure how to assemble it. The silver part is enclosed within the red tube. Easy to fit with spare tire. Pleased with the purchase.

Expensive but well made and worth it for the flexibility and compactness
It is as described, nice and compact in a well made sleeve. Seems to be well made overall. I have tested it on a particularly tight set of lug nuts on my Hilux, after exerting some effort I loosened them all ok, so I guess it won't break when I need to use it in anger.

Perfect for what I was looking for
I don’t bother with an impact anymore. I often used a cross tire iron and it’s speed and ease of use was perfect over a clunky impact and cord. I like the hand feel of hand torquing, it’s satisfying, though the iron I was using wasn’t metric and I risked striping nuts, so I sent out to find a metric one. This collapsable version looked amazing. Mind you I did order it, and soon it was refunded back to me, then it was available again at an increased price, and the whole ordeal was a bit disturbing and delayed. I am happy to had finally get one, though a bit jaded on price as I have a bit of a burn from my order experience. Can’t say that will happen to you, but I wish the price I pressed confirm on was honored, so I might make that 5th star is pending, yet.

I now have one of these in each car - for me, a MUST HAVE tool to change a tire on the road!
I found that most repair and tire shops over-tighten lug nuts with their air impact wrenches. Normally I wouldn't know or care, but I was recently victim to a pothole on the highway, and unable to loosen the lug nuts with the wrench supplied with my 2011 Volvo S40. I am very capable of changing a flat tire, but felt helpless waiting for AAA to show up (well over an hour). I've been told tire shops are reluctant to tighten lug nuts to published torque specs as they may have a tendency to loosen slightly once you drive on them the next few days, and would need to be re tightened (or at least checked) - some say this is even more likely with aluminum wheels (I honestly don't know for sure). When the young man from the nearby AAA garage showed up, his cordless impact wrench was unable to loosen a single nut. With the help of a cheater pipe, he used his traditional 4-way lug wrench to loosen the nuts. I didn't want to experience that helpless feeling again, so I did "The Google" search thing, and looked into getting a 4-way lug wrench and cheater pipe of my own. That's when I found the LugStrong wrench. This is by far the best designed lug wrench I've ever used. Quality made and an impressive design. As soon as the LugStrong arrived, I tested it on several lug nuts on my Volvo, and although a few were extremely tight, I was able to confidently loosen them. The bar is cleverly designed to hold the sliding cross-bar in place whether at the extreme end for added mechanical advantage (in place of the cheater pipe), or in the center position in order to spin the wrench. It's optimal use is for 19mm (3/4") and 21mm lug nuts. It also includes a 17mm socket and 1/2" bit for standard sockets to accomodate *any* size lug nuts, but these two options do not offer the same degree of leverage you may need for stubbornly tight lug nuts - so be aware of that.Bonus: one bar slides into the other for extremely compact storage, and comes with a sturdy storage sleeve.

Compact and Sturdy
The GTE tire iron is well designed and built as advertised with lifetime warranty. I bought this as an emergency tool for my 2015 BMW 328i Xdrive tires. ('Cause BMW believes owners/drivers don't need their own tools and can afford to pay every service stealerships have to offer.)This is designed for the following lug size: 17mm, 3/4", 19mm, 21mm and comes with a 1/2 " adapter.
