Perfect for a frying pot.
I don't use an electric frying pot because toxic coatings. I've been using a stainless steel saucepan for a fry pot but I really wanted to switch to a cast iron one for more even heating. The inside surface was more rough than I expected, so before I seasoned it, I went over the inside with sandpaper to smooth it out. Now it's very easy to clean. It works wonderfully. I've fried french fries, potato chips, chicken, and fish. No hot spots, no problems.Very happy with this.

Great design, could be a little bigger, and bottom should be compeltely flat
I bought this pot to use for popping popcorn. I needed a medium cast iron pot with a handle. Most don't have handles. The pre-seasoned finish is great, and so the pot was ready to use right out of the box. Why do I only give it 4 stars, you ask? As with many other modern era cast iron pots, the maker the maker has stamped its logo into a large portion of the bottom. When used with an electric stove eye, element does not make even contact with the bottom of the pot. This results in some parts of the eye getting much hotter than the rest... It would be better to use a less pronouced logo, and/or perhaps a smaller one, placed in the center of the pot. The two other things I would have preferred are a cast iron lid rather than the glass one -- I've broken too many glass lids, and try to avoid them -- and a slightly larger overall dimension to the pot, particularly the bottom.

Love this cast iron sauce pan
I've been increasing my use of cast iron products. I enjoy the sauce pan because it has the high sides and heats well. The glass lid is a plus. This is such a better way of cooking!

Love this pot!
Love this cast iron pot. Great size for homemade cream of wheat, tomato sauces, puddings/custards or mac and cheese sauce! Good thickness on product without it being to heavy. Love that is comes with a lid.

Bunk Pot
I ordered the 2 Quart Sauce Pan but I'm pretty sure I received the 3 Quart Sauce Pan instead. Compared to my other cast iron cookware this felt unnecessarily heavy, and is not the sort of pan one can maneuver with one hand. The handle just is not at all balanced against the weight of the pot. The inside feels very rough in comparison to Lodge Cast Iron, and the pan I received had a large dent in the material. I was hoping this would be an ideal pan for beans but it's just heavy and awkward. I would like to return this item but the shipping cost makes it not so worth it…

Veggie Pot
This is officially my veggie pot. I can fry my fat back in this pan and put my veggies on top with no sticking. This pot cooks evenly and thoroughly.

Great pot, but lid cracked under high heat
Generally happy with the pot--a solid, well-crafted piece. However, at high heat, the lid on mine cracked.
