Really cute
Kids ages 7 and 4 loved them --- just what i was looking for -- just don't try to operate two of them at the same time --- remotes work on the same frequency, and seems to cause info overload and they don't react. Individually they work great. Lots of lights and sound.

Doesn't work and made a horrible Christmas for my son!
This was such a disappointment and made for a horrible Christmas for my youngest son. He is 3 and all he wanted for Christmas was a robot! I found this online and it got mostly good reviews. At this point I am not sure if any of the good reviews are real. The shipment arrived late. It was supposed to be here between the 16th and 19th of December. It did not get here until December 23rd. On top of that, no notification came through letting me know it arrived. I purposely had this shipped to my office so my son would have no chance of seeing it before Christmas. So, when it arrived at my office, there was nobody there as everyone was off for the holiday. I tried to track it again on Christmas Eve and found out it was delivered the day before. Also, no notice given that it had been delivered. So, I had to drive down to my office on Christmas Eve to pick it up. I found it "shoved" in our mailbox and had to actually cut it out of the mailbox by cutting the shipping box open!At this point I was a little frustrated with the delivery, but was happy to have the product before Christmas. I took it home and got it out of the box. First thing I noticed, was the box the product was in was taped shut with regular scotch tape. I immediately said to my wife, this looks like it was already returned once and I hope it isn't damaged?? We got it out of the box and everything looked ok. We put it together and installed the batteries. I turned it on and........NOTHING! It didn't work. We tried 3 sets of batteries and still nothing. Now, it was too late to go out and get my son anything else. So, we just put a note on it from Santa, saying it fell off his sleigh and got damaged and that he would get him another one as soon as he could. I can't express enough just how disappointed and infuriated I was with this purchase. It should be illegal for companies to send out a damaged product and the quality control should be better. I have not contacted the seller yet, but will update this once I do. Hopefully they are at least responsive and accountable.

Doesn't last long
This product is cute, and fun. But the discs stop shooting after just a little use. This is the second one we've owned, the other was the same way.

Best robot I have seen so far
My 5 year old boy wanted Santa to give him a robot this year (2011) one that would walk and do things. This Robot is awesome. It took him no time to figure out how to operate it. It has several features, walking, dancing, shooting very soft rings. The lights on his face are really cool and sometimes my son makes him walk in the dark hallway and it lights up the wall, he loves it. It makes a lot of different sounds but so far I don't find it disagreeable. The music is disco and every time it plays we all dance to it. I think it is too soon to talk about its durability. I would have to write an update later on, but so far it looks pretty solid. My 22 months old kid also plays with it a little bit and has not managed to hurt it so far. It uses 6 AA batteries, but I bought rechargeables so we don't have to worry about buying batteries. He's been playing with it everyday for the last 12 days and it's still running on the same batteries, full power. I'll probably write an update about the battery life and the durability of the actual toy later on. I put three stars for the Educational value, because honestly I don't think it's meant to be an educational tool. It's just a great toy. We do a lot of games where the robot is a good robot and attacks bad guys etc. hopefully it'll last a long time.Update: I am writing this update on Dec 25, 2012, one year after we purchased this product. The robot is still in perfect shape, my kids still love it. They don't play with it everyday, but it has been a great toy.

aged 3 up to 11 LOVE this robot
ALL 4 of my children, aged 3 up to 11 LOVE this robot. It is SOOOO COOL.updateAll of my children really loved this robot. It was a big hit. But it did not last. A few days after Christmas, my 3 year old was hugging it adoringly and it slipped and dropped- not a far fall from a 3 year old's arms and the leg broke off. VERY DISAPPOINTED!
