Good alternative for girls from the melissa and doug standard red, green and blue colored one. But I must say that Melissa and doug offers more chore magnets than this one. I do like that there is a total points section on the chart and that the white board can slide behind the chart when not needed. You can stick the unused magnets on the white board and slide it behind that chart ss well. The magnets are not made of wood but of a plastic like material which works fine.I wanted a chart with girly colors and this looks 100% better in her room and doesn't stick out as a eye soar compared to Melissa and doug chart. I just wished both companies would have a solution to storage for the unsued magnets outside of the white boards. I use the white boards to actually write on them. :)

Pro: The kids love marking their completed chores on these charts. I am very happy with the product.Con: We ordered two at the same time. They are poorly stored and packed apparently, because the metal from one damaged the other. We wound up having to return and reorder about four or five times to get them not damaged.

Well built and very heavy. Needs to be mounted, not just hung on a door. Chore list is geared toward 5 year old+ so it was missing a few chores we would have liked to have it contain for our 3 year old, but it is helping build good habits.

I was planning on making my own board with magnets but the materials would have cost me the same if not a little more than this product. My boys love the board and my husband and I have been so happy that they have actually been doing what we ask. Who would have thought it could be as easy as earning a star!?? I had to add a few extra chores so I printed out a small clip art picture with a chore beside it and with double sided tape put it on top of one the chores magnets we weren't using. Was very easy to hang!

I ordered one for each of my kids, but when they packed it into the box the hanging hardware from one scratched the other... So Amazon, you need to have a little filler between them to stop them from rubbing other than that they are awesome and the kids are SO excited!

It's a good tool. But my board was damaged and some of the magnets were bent.

I love it. It didn't have all the chores I wanted to give my kid so a made my own. Helps my kid be more responsible and she's excited about it.

Very disappointing!! A lot of the magnets were stuck together and when you try and pull them apart they ripped!
