Absolutely love this filament! It prints fast, prints clean, makes really good parts, is very strong, just overall the best. I have never had a bad spool out of around 10 spools used! I also found that I can take a piece of the filament, light it on fire with a lighter, and let it melt and drip onto broke 3d printer parts to melt it together, works very well!

Have only used the dryer for a couple days but am happy with the ease of use. And the overall size makes is easy to setup near my printer when printing directly from the dryer. Things I like:Ease of setup Large ScreenSize Multiple outlet feeds for filament when printing direct from dryerStable base, with the caveat of dryer needs to have more space between dryer and shelf.

It seals well, dries well, is the best deal and it fits 2 spools compared to other brands. The hygrometer inside is accurate. Other users have reported that the fan inside is noisy but I did not have the same experience. I sleep with mine a few feet away from my bed and it doesn't bother me (I'm a light sleeper). The only possible complaint I can see someone having is that it doesn't heat to above 60c but that's fine just dry it for longer.

Pretty good, but there is one big flaw. There is no vent to get rid of the humid air, so once this finishes drying the filament will start to reabsorb the moisture that is trapped inside. Luckily there is an easy solution. You can remove the silicone plugs by taking the plastic nut off. Remove all four while it is drying, and replace if you plan on using it for storage (I would recommend getting a large, sealed tote from a hardware store and filling the bottom with re-dryable silica beads for long term storage).For those of you complaining about tangling, this product will not tangle your filament! Your filament came pre tangled! It does rely on contact rollers so if your filament spool is chipped or messed up it may grab on and release and give backlash, but that is (again) due to the filament not the dryer.

Overall I am pleased, but I want to share how this performs.First off, the design changed a little from the pictures, it now has four holes for filament to feed through. Two on the top , as shown, and now two more on the front. All of the holes have silicone seals to close them off, so this is an improvement.Now for the results of my testing. I put a hygrometer inside the case and graphed the results. The unit dries the filament very slowly, so if you have filament that is very moist, you’ll likely need to run this for days to dry it. I averaged around 0.6 to 0.7% per hour (takes about 4 hours before it starts dropping). So it’s slow and steady, which is not a bad thing. Once you have it fairly dry, it will start absorbing moisture again (even if you don’t open the case).In my tests, once the drying cycle completes, the humidity inside the enclosure will start to gradually increase again. Slower than the drying cycle, but steadily increasing. The case has no openings except for filament holes (plugged for testing) and the joint between the base and lid. The drying is accomplished by heating and a small fan that just circulates the air inside the case (it is not vented to the room). So for the humidity to drop the moisture has to be seeping through the joint between the base and the lid. So when the cycle stops, the reverse starts to occur.Final thoughts: I am not pointing this out as a flaw (I still gave it 5 stars), but rather to help others to understand how the device works/behaves. So now I know that the device will need to be run periodically to maintain the target moisture level in the filament AND that the dryer itself is not a good long term storage box. Once filament is dry and won’t be used for a while, it should be stored in something that is air tight to maintain the proper moisture levels.

Bought this filament dryer to see if I could save an older roll of PLA filament that had become very brittle. Very impressed with the packaging, very well padded. Two rolls of filament fit fine. Controls are not the most intuitive but easy to understand after reading the simple manual. Ran the dryer for 8 hours and seems like the filament is no longer brittle. I have not had a chance to use the filament yet but so far this looks promising.
