Beautiful retro nightgown!
Very pretty 1950s style nightgown! So glad these classic nigthgowns are still being made! It is very soft and not sheer.

Great Fit
I am 5-3&1/2” tall & weigh 141 lbs. I ordered the large (what I normally wear) & it fit perfectly. Upper bra area fit great & did provide some support for boobs (looked great & I am very self-critical); I wear a bra size of 38C. The upper bra area also hid/camouflaged & smoothed down upper back fat as well. The skirt, I thought, was a bit too flowy (a bit too much material) but would rather have too much than not enough. I would definitely buy again & urge you to buy as well! Also, priced great! The most important thing, however, it accentuates everything you want it to & hides/camouflages everything else - what more could you ask for? You’ll love it 🥰

Nice!! Fit info -
Very nice!! Soft! A good quality gown. Sizing info wasn't real clear to me. I am 5'5" tall. I weigh 220 lbs. 51" total bust (US 40K bra). I got the 2x. This works because of the stretch lace bodice. It gives them a little support. I think I will try the 3x next and see if there's any more coverage up top. As I would not wear this if we had guests. However, my husband loves it ) I bought the matching bed coat separately and am currently awaiting it's arrival. Will let y'all know how this works out. So far I do recommend this if you can get the size right.Update - for the second time in as many days amazn has sent me the wrong item! So I have no clue about this. Lets wait yet 6 more days for an exchange and see if I finally get what I actually paid for. If they can't give us our prime they need to refund our prime!Update 2 on 5/30/20 - Got this in a size 3x. More comfy than the 2x. But i could wear either one. That said, no support at all with the 3x but still fits well. Now awaiting my replacement jacket since they sent a gown instead of the jacket I ordered on the 23rd (yep, this is a prime item yet it takes them a week to deliver?! And no rush even though they screwed up)

Very pretty.
Very pretty, and may be perfect for someone who is a little more slender and taller. But for me at 5’2” and weighing 141 lbs it is too snug around chest and also too long to be comfortable in for very long.

So comfortable
The only nightgown I ever wear - it fits snugly on top with a generous flare and silkiness to the skirt which allows for free movement

A mixed bag of good and bad
The BAD: the skirt fabric is laughable at this price point. As others have said, it is like a child's Halloween costume!? Not what you would expect, there is a standard "satin" fabric thickness and opacity when you buy sleepwear. This is NOT that. It is also very sheer so that is super disappointing given that you can go to Target, TJ Maxx and get better quality fabric for literally HALF the price. So VALUE and BAD QUALITY SKIRT FABRIC are the cons.THE GOOD: very pretty and flattering. Good coverage on top, and I am a D cup. The lace IS sheer-ish but not vulgar. The lace is soft and not itchy. The skirt hangs nicely and has a good drape to it. If you have curves and are an adult woman this will make you feel great in terms of the fit and look, if only the skirt had better fabric itd be perfect.

Just What I Wanted
This nightgown was exactly what I was looking for, I read most of the reviews before buying, and they were pretty much right about everything. First I bought 3 gowns; (white/black/perifrost), and they are so soft, flowy, and beautiful I love them. They are a little sheer, but I think it's the perfect amount of opaqueness. I've seen some reviews where people were uncomfortable with the sheerness, but it's perfect for me. The gowns do run a little big, I bought mines in a 3X, and it's a bit loose on me, a 2X would've been a perfect fit but I like the loose fit. Also there is no support to the top lacey part of the gown, so if you need support definitely wear a bra underneath. Some of the reviews that I read said that the lace was too sheer, but I don't think so. I am completely comfortable wearing these gowns without a cover up or bra. These gowns are soft, and light to wear on hot nights, very flattering. Even though they are very beautiful, they are a bit pricey. Typically I wouldn't spend so much on a nightgown, but I had an Amazon gift card that I had to use, and after I bought the first one, I had to have another. I'm 5ft tall, 243lbs, 54in. hips 42C, if that helps anyone with sizing. I should've bought these sooner.

They don't all fit the same.
I own two of these nightgowns and just love them. As others have said, the stretch lace is nice and soft, the fit is good and it's very comfortable. However, this latest one is differently sized. I'm 5'6 and a size 6 and have always purchased the medium. They've been generously cut and I could easily buy a small - however, I prefer a looser fit, so I stick with the medium. Today, my 3rd one arrived and the fit is smaller than my other two. I thought that perhaps I was accidently shipped a size small. I double checked, and it's a medium, so while it fits me, it would probably not fit someone who's generally a size medium. So I don't know if this is an irregular, or made in a different factory that uses different sizing measurements. I compared the band where the lace meets the solid fabric, right under the bust line, against my other two and there's a good 2" difference in the size. Additionally, there was a problem with the way the label was sewn into this one. With my other two, the label is tacked onto the garment in two corners and they lie flat and I don't feel them at all. On the one I received today, the stitches are done with a stiffer thread, and don't lie flat with the label and were scratching my skin terribly. Sine there's no "give" and is closely/tightly sewn it's almost impossible to cut out the label without making a hole in the garment. I did manage to do it, but it took a long time, a lot of patience, and practically surgical skills not to cut a hole in the garment.
