This product has beautiful colored tiles. As shown, they are a mixture of clear and opaque glass, and they are reasonably consistent in shape/size. Only a few were broken when I received them. They likely were "gently tumbled" as advertised, since they arrived a bit dusty, but the tumbling by no means worked to "remove sharp edges" as they said it would. They are definitely small tiles and did arrive in a shockingly tiny little box, though I did expect that given their size.The two bags I bought contained 21 different colors. There are two shades of clear blue, two shades of opaque blue, opaque white, opaque gray, opaque black, three shades of opaque green, one shade of clear green, clear yellow, opaque yellow, clear red, opaque red, clear orange, opaque orange, opaque pink, two shades of opaque brown, and one shade of clear brown. I was given roughly 15-30 tiles of each color (IN TWO BAGS)--though I have 60+ tiles of one certain shade of blue.Thus, if you are purchasing only one bag, you can expect to have just a few (perhaps 8-15) tiles of each color. If you're working on a very small project or don't need your colors to match, that could be fine. Since the product was advertised as having "over a dozen different colors" and "about 270 pieces," I expected to get roughly 20 tiles of perhaps 15 different colors per bag, but that was not the case. Thankfully, it's not important for my project, but now you will be better informed than I was on the matter.

I ordered these for use in a Vacation Bible School project. I wasn't sure if they would work well or not. I needed small colorful pieces for some mosaic crosses the kids would be making combined with shells, glass buttons, etc.. They are the perfect size for the small 4" crosses and look nice combined with the other items. I decided I would need another package though, so I ordered a 2nd pack.

I had to buy two bags for my project and all the pieces were good colors and not very many broken.

Very valuable info in the 300 Tips book! Good overview of alternative techniques and materials. It will remain my "go to" handbook, I'm sure.Nice selection of colors and mediums, some clear glass and some opaque. Very happy.

Smaller than I expected....I'll use them as backup, but I probably won't be able to do the mural,i wanted. Whoops! Beautiful, bright, cheerful. Exactly as described. If I need mural glass that small, I will totally buy again.
