This sauce was delicious. I ended up throwing out about a quarter of it because it got moldy after the expiration date (which is a testament to it's lack of preservatives). Also, I did not store it in the fridge, like I should have. Anyway, I am definitely buying it again, and storing it in the fridge this time! It is one of the cheapest products that is both organic AND responsibly/ethically sourced. Compared to other brands I've tried (Hershey's and Ghirardelli), this sauce wins in the flavor, texture, and ethics departments. I was looking for a product that mixes well into iced coffee/lattes and blends well in frappes. Holy Kakow performs excellently in both scenarios. EDIT: Changed to five stars from four because... I bought it again. This time, I stored it in the fridge and was able to use up the whole bottle. I still believe that this chocolate does better than Hershey's and Ghirardelli. Buying it for my third time now!

My mistake. I didn't refrigerate...! After purchasing this back in November 2022, I've enjoyed the organic chocolate with my morning mochas. As I've got about an inch left, I began looking to reorder. While looking over the reviews, some reviews cited mold, across this and other brands, in their larger mocha containers with pumps. My plastic pump came in a sealed plastic wrapper… I was careful not to let the pump 'touch anything' as I first put it in the bottle, when I first received it. (I'm certain I started No contamination.) After reading another brand's review, someone introduced to me the idea, that their large bottle syrup NEEDS TO BE REFRIGERATED. Yes. I missed that on this brand. Prompted by these reviews, today, In removing the sterile pump, I looked at the shaft, and was disturbed to see what I hopefully wasn't ingesting... I am expecting that as the tip of the shaft had never been removed, it was pumping uncontaminated chocolate into my drinks. In any case I thought I would ENCOURAGE everyone, if you're using these large bottled syrup products… Which I got specifically because it didn't have "preservatives", I wanted organic... Not leave these simply on the counter next to the sink, which I did. In taking this picture… I realized this was intended to go into the fridge each night for proper protection. I'll have to clear out a space in the refrigerator to put this, which may make it very thick, if I want to keep using this large chocolate syrup for my mochas. BTW, the pump on the counter was very sturdy and consistent. I'm concerned that the syrup thickness in my fridge may give the pump a challenge, so I'll see what happens May I suggest that all brands put a LARGER 'REFRIGERATE AFTER OPENING' Notice on the syrup bottle. (My fault. I didn't look.) AND - I'd rather refrigerate than have preservatives! I hope this is helpful.

Oh so good! Love it in my coffee and on my ice cream. Very flavorful, one of the best I have found.

I’m giving this 4 stars because the quality is a clear step up from standard store brands. The consistency is noticeably thicker, and you can tell the ingredients are simple and high-quality. It’s a huge hit in our house—both my daughter and I love it for our chocolate milk. I especially appreciate the larger bottle size; it lasts much longer than the smaller alternatives. I also ended up buying a sturdy reusable pump for it, which makes it super easy to swap onto a new bottle once this one is finished. Great taste and better ingredients!

I was looking for a chocolate sauce for chocolate milk. Even though it is a bit on the expensive side, I bought it. I'm glad I did!! The taste is not bitter, it has natural ingredients, which was huge.

A great product, but the supplier put a sticker over the section that says it needs to be refrigerated after opening. We didn't refrigerated it and now need to throw out half of a container.

After trying around a dozen different cocoas, this is by far my favorite. I use cocoa to make my daily mochas, and rather than the usual sweet-with-no-flavor, this cocoa is a very flavorful chocolate that is not too sweet. It also matters to me that this cocoa is single origin, and made by a local company who is climate- pledge friendly. Worth the price if u are looking for a rich and tasty cocoa.

I usually not writing reviews but that's is bad product. No even 1 month old and all mold. My husband got sick due this mold. I opened product on March 30th 2025 and today I have to write to Amazon for refund.
