The brand and product itself is good, just like the jars I get at the store. But one of them cracked during shipping and there was gel everywhere. I washed the jars with warm water and wrapped the broken one in clear tape to cover the cracks. It was still 75% full so it wasn’t that big of a deal; I’m still using it.

Left my hair hard and stylish yes, but after it dried a lot of white flakes on your hair, I didn’t like it

Pros: smells decent, makes your curls really pop, hair stays soft not crunchy, and great for sleek braiding.Cons: TERRIBLE for slicking hair or laying down edges. No hold in that regard.So it depends on what you're planning to use it for.

My daughter has always had a hard to hold hair since she was young. She chose to go to a military college and it was required that all new cadets where their hear in one of the "bun donuts". Needless to say this was a challenge for her since shes always had the long hard to control hair. One of her new cadet friends recommended she try this gel.I bought my daughter this gel and one container lasted her the whole first semester. She raved about how it controlled her hair without the overly stiff feel. Also that it was easy to brush out after use which was a big plus for her since she has a sensitive scalp.

I love the product. It's great and doesn't flakes. It has a nice scent and is a great value because it last a long time, very economical. A half-dollar amount is just the right amount for my thick hair. It helps my hair to grow very recommend it highly.Sincerely, Betty Bryant

The product itself is great. However I ordered 2 tubs they were both uncovered when I got them. 1 of the tubs were also cracked on the side.Ps. I did try contacting the seller but got no response

EcoStyler has been my go-to gel for the past 6 years or so, you simply cannot go wrong with this brand and I never realized they came out with all these other varieties! There is no flaking, no itching, and it holds your hair in place without making it rock hard like other gels. I would recommend using this on wet hair, but it also works with dry hair if that is your preference. I suppose the price here is a little more expensive than in store, but I've also never seen the giant tub of 32 ounces in store, so the price may scale? I'll have to check out a Sally and see what sizes they carry and the price.
