It would be better, but more expensive, if they were padded more in some manner. The edges are a little sharp and scratched the bracelets and cases inside . It's a little difficult to get some watches on until you get experienced with it .Otherwise it works just fine. Certainly it allows one to see which watches are regulated correctly if 1 out of 6 reads incorrectly after a while. I remember reading that some watches wind clockwise and some need counter clockwise. This machine will do both by simply clicking the on-off twice to reverse direction. It sometimes hesitates while turning but that is probably not a problem as wearing a watch is not a constant motion either.It might not be in a beautiful leather and wood case but I don't care about that with 46 watches. I want it simple and easy and functional. It makes no noise.
